National Farriers Week runs from 7 to 11 July 2026. 🐴🔨

🐴🔨 HAPPY FARRIER WEEK 🔨🐴

Here’s to the poor bastards who spend their days bent in half under 600kg of bad decisions, questionable manners and horses that are apparently “never usually like this.” 😂

To the farriers who survive:

🐎 The horse that hasn’t been caught yet when you arrive.
🐎 The owner who says, “He might be a little fresh.”
🐎 The horse that leans its entire body weight on you.
🐎 The one that snatches its foot away 47 times.
🐎 The muddy paddock with no shade and 900 flies.
🐎 And the classic, “While you’re here, could you just quickly do this other one too?”

Thank you for keeping our horses sound, our hooves trimmed and our delusions alive.

Because apparently owning horses wasn’t expensive enough without needing a highly skilled professional every six weeks to argue with their feet.
