Post-Op Cuddle Club! ❤️

This little sibling duo came in to see us today for two separate procedures. Dr Jackie happily stepped in for some extra post-op cuddles with little Jack while his big sister Daisy was still recovering from her procedure. Once they were both awake, the pair were reunited for even more snuggles. 🐶

These two made our day - and they may have just set the record for the cutest recovery cuddles! 🐾

Ticks Don’t Take a Winter Break! ❄️

While many people associate ticks with the warmer months, we’re still seeing multiple tick paralysis cases each week. Ticks remain active throughout winter in our region, even more so after rain. Keep your pets protected year-round by staying up to date with their tick prevention and remembering to check them for ticks regularly – especially after they’ve been outdoors.

If your pet is showing clinical signs of tick paralysis seek veterinary care immediately. Things to look out for:
🚨Weakness
🚨Wobbliness
🚨Vomiting
🚨Changes in bark or meow
🚨Difficulty breathing

Prevention is always safer (and far less stressful) than treatment. If you’re unsure whether your pet is protected, give us a call today.
