Breeding beautiful Border Collies, for work and for play. It is EYLESVIEW’s vision to produce quality Border Collies for both work and for play.

It is our aim that our pups will be equally at home in the lounge room as they are in the show ring or the cattle yards. But mostly that they will go to homes where they will be as loved and as valued as they are here at EYLESVIEW.

Good morning everyone! 😊 Here’s a gorgeous throwback to start your day! This little fella is Atti, the most gorgeous pup who was then known as Spud. Atti is now the spitting image of his mum, Sheila. 🧡

🌸 Happy birthday to the Spring Litter! The girls are turning two today which seems impossible. I’m sure they’ll be spending their day doing all their favourite things, whether it be swimming in the dam, out at cafes or at home getting love from their humans. Happy birthday kids! 🩷

Hip and elbow scoring is an important part of the breeding process - it’s important to know that our dogs have the best chance possible of producing sound puppies with no hereditary joint issues.

Cricket had her hips and elbows scored this week, resulting in the best scores we’ve seen in an Eylesview girl!

Elbows - 0:0
Hips - 1:0

Very proud of young Cricket and the way she’s developing. Certainly looking forward to seeing what she produces in time 🌸

Today was our last day of herding at DogLand for the year. Lots of progress and fun for Cricket and Pud, a HT title and great times with friends.

~ Eylesview Sugar Plum Puddin PT (DQ pending)

Today Pud entered a double herding trial at DogLand. After some very nice, calm work she came away with two passes and her Pre-Trial title (DQ pending). It was lovely recognition of our work together over the last 12 months and the patience and support of our trainer. 🏵️

Cricket and I had a fantastic weekend at DogLand Australia for our yearly herding clinic. Two days learning from a wonderful trainer as well as from other handlers and their dogs. Cricket had a great time. She’s turning into a lovely little dog with a bit of drive and instinct when working. I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can do together 🤠🐑🐶

Cricket - a country girl at heart 🧡

It’s been a relaxed start to the year at Eylesview. No shows or trials. Just lots of hanging out. There’s been trips to the markets, a little bit of herding, swimming and hanging out with furry friends, a group trip to the salon and of course the inevitable vet visits that come along every now and then. We’re now looking forward to one of our best weekends of the year - a two-day herding clinic later this month at DogLand. 🐶 🐾
