Our hearts are officially stolen! 🐾❤️

Meet Cody, the absolute goodest Border Collie boy who visited us recently! He was on his best behavior for his check-up and had the entire team head over heels with his gentle tail wags and sweet nature.

Thank you for being such a star patient, Cody—we’re all sending you big cuddles until we see you next! 🐶✨

Dr David had a very special visitor recently!🦎✨

Meet Sq**rt, the absolute superstar lizard who dropped in for a check-up. Sq**rt was a total natural on the exam table and gave Dr David top marks before head-bobbing his way home with a clean bill of health! 💚

We love seeing all our scale-y, feather-y, and fur-ry patients happy and thriving. Thanks for visiting us, Sq**rt! 🩺🍃

End of an Era for Aunty B! 🐾❤️

After 10 wonderful years of veterinary nursing at Greencross Chandlers, the time has come for me to say goodbye and step into my next adventure! 🌟

Greencross Chandlers has always felt like home, and I am so deeply grateful for all the memories, the amazing team I’ve worked alongside, and of course, all the wonderful patients and pet parents I’ve had the privilege to care for over the last decade. 🐶🐱💕

My last day in clinic will be Wednesday, October 28th so please come in and say gday! 🤩

Thank you to everyone who made my time here so special. I’m going to miss you all, but I’m super excited for what’s ahead! 🥂✨

— Aunty B / Britty 💛

The team at Greencross Chandlers officially lost their hearts today! 🐾❤️

Meet Nugget, who was absolute perfection and so incredibly brave during his very first vet visit with us. Between his sweet personality and irresistible face, he had the whole clinic wrapped around his little paw.

Thank you for being such a star, Nugget! We’re already counting down the days until your next visit for more cuddles! 🥰✨

Farewell Dr Emma!! We wish you all the best on your next adventure and can’t wait to see what you achieve 🤩

Leave Dr Emma some love in the comments! 🩷👇

Meet Sophie, the sweetest Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who completely stole our hearts during her recent dental procedure! 🐶❤️

She conquered her visit with endless cuddles and the biggest, brightest smile.
While a sparkling smile is a great bonus, looking after your dog’s teeth is essential for their overall health. Dental disease can be sneaky and cause discomfort long before symptoms become obvious. Regular checks and cleanings help keep their mouth healthy, pain-free, and full of happy kisses!

Is your pup due for a dental check-up? Give us a call or pop in to book an assessment today! 🦷✨

Meet Frankie! 🐾

This tiny little Italian Greyhound came in for his vaccination and was quite possibly the cutest little patient we’ve had in our hands! 🥹

Frankie was so teeny, he practically fit in the palm of our hands. 🥰

Safe to say, we were all a little bit obsessed! 💚

Congratulations to Natasha! Tash received the award for ‘2026 Nurse Mentor of the Year’. We are incredibly proud of her for this well deserved achievement. She is an integral part of Greencross Caloundra and the team would be lost without her!

Bird flu is making headlines, so Better Homes & Gardens asked Greencross Vets what it means for our pets.

Greencross Vets veterinarian Dr Nina shares practical advice to help pet parents understand the risks and take simple precautions.

“Bird flu can infect all mammals, so dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets can all be infected.”

From avoiding contact with sick or dead wildlife to keeping cats indoors and dogs on a leash around wildlife, a few simple steps can help reduce exposure.

The best things really do come in pairs! From matching outfits to matching dental procedures Ace and Zero went through it all together. 🐾🥺

Ziggy came in for his castrate last week! 🐶💙 He was just too cute to resist, so naturally, he spent most of the day getting cuddles from the team! 🥰

🖤 A majestic visitor who never should have needed a trip to the vet.

This beautiful black swan was found with a fishing hook stuck in its mouth - a painful and completely preventable injury caused by discarded fishing gear.

Removing the hook required a general anaesthetic, along with pain relief to keep this feathered patient comfortable while we treated them. 🦢

A reminder to all anglers: please take your fishing line, hooks and tackle home with you or use a designated disposal bin. The Victorian Fisheries Authority advises that old fishing line should be placed in bins, or if there are no bins available, taken home, cut up and disposed of in general waste. Their Seal the Loop program also provides dedicated bins for unwanted fishing line, hooks, netting and rope. (VFA)

Discarded fishing gear can cause entanglement, injury and even death to wildlife. A few extra seconds to dispose of your gear properly can make a huge difference. 💔

🎣 Fish responsibly. Dispose responsibly. Protect our wildlife. A big thanks for the wildlife careers for bringing this amazing swan in and thanks to our team for helping 🫶🏼

Sweet 11-year-old Stella recently underwent an emergency cystotomy with us to remove bladder stones. 🩺💗

After her procedure and a little time to recover, Stella is now doing amazingly well so far and almost back to being her happy self! 🥰🐶

We’re so pleased to see this beautiful girl feeling comfortable and healthy again. 💕
