A LITTLE SPLASH OF SUNSHINE! ☀️💛

Our newest arrivals are certainly bringing some colour to the bird room!

We’ve just welcomed a beautiful selection of Yellow Gouldian Finches, with some stunning colour variations amongst them. 😍

Gouldians are already one of Australia’s most colourful native finches, but these yellow mutations are something else!

Whether you’re an experienced finch breeder or just love a beautiful aviary bird, these little guys are definitely worth coming in to see!

Don’t miss out on these beauties! Come in and see them for yourself before they’re gone! 💚

CUTENESS OVERLOAD! 🐣

Our newest little arrivals might just be some of the cutest yet!

These absolutely gorgeous purebred Japanese Bantam chicks have just arrived at Beyond Pets, and they’re only ONE WEEK OLD! 😍

Japanese Bantams are a beautiful little ornamental breed, known for their short legs, impressive upright tails and big personalities despite their tiny size!

Our babies are unsexed and looking for their new homes! Come in and meet these little fluffballs for yourself, and don’t miss out on taking a few home! 💚

FALLEN IN LOVE WITH HENRY? 🦜

If you’ve visited Beyond Pets, there’s a good chance you’ve met Henry, our resident Alexandrine Parrot and quite possibly the biggest almond lover in the shop! 😂

Well, we’ve got some pretty exciting news for anyone who’s ever wished they could take Henry home…

Our very own Dan is currently handraising a beautiful baby Alexandrine! 🥹💚

Still a little baby with plenty of growing to do, but already showing off that cheeky personality we love so much about these birds!

If you’ve ever dreamed of having an Alexandrine of your own, this is your chance 🤩

Pop in and have a chat with our friendly team if you’d like to know more about this beautiful baby💚

This little guy is now spoken for.

ZEUS HAS A CONFESSION TO MAKE… 😮

We think it’s time to officially reintroduce one of our resident reptiles!

Some of you might already know Zeus, our beautiful Jungle Carpet Python who’s been part of the Beyond Pets family since we first opened.

Well, after a little discovery, it turns out Zeus has been keeping a secret from us…

HE’S ACTUALLY A SHE! 🤣

So everyone, meet ZENA! 💚

Now, we know snakes aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but hear us out!

Jungle Carpet Pythons are pretty incredible animals. Native to the rainforests of Far North Queensland, they’re excellent climbers, can detect the body heat of their prey using specialised heat sensing pits along their lips, and have some of the most striking yellow and black patterns of any Australian python!

And despite their intimidating appearance, they’re non venomous constrictors.

Zena might not be everyone’s idea of a cuddly companion, but we think she’s pretty special. 🥹

Next time you’re in store, pop into the reptile room and say hello to the newly renamed Zena!

And be honest… are you team snake lover or team admire from the other side of the store? 😂

HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THESE TWO?! 😍🦜

We have a stunning pair of Grey Green Plum headed Parrots now available at Beyond Pets, and they’re definitely worth coming in to see!

Just look at the contrast between them! The male has that incredible rosy pink head, while the female has a gorgeous soft grey head, both paired with those beautiful yellow green feathers. 💚

Plum headed Parrots are such an underrated aviary species! They’re elegant, inquisitive and absolutely stunning once mature.

We don’t often have these beauties available, especially as a pair, so we’re pretty excited to have them in the bird room!

Available as a pair only! Come in and see them for yourself. 🤩

They’re weird, adorable and unlike just about anything else in the reptile room… and those eyes are ridiculous!

We only have THREE patternless Smooth K**b Tails left so don’t miss out!

Come in and see them in the reptile room for yourself 💚
