Patient of the Week… This sweet boy has already stolen our hearts - letting us take his bloods AND place a catheter with absolutely no restraint. 🥹❤️

The sweetest soul, the bravest boy, and quite possibly the easiest patient we’ll see all week! 🐾👑

Safe to say, he’s set the bar very high. 💕

Meet Theodore 🐻 Theo had to have emergency surgery to remove his eye just last week ( first two photos) the last photo shows Theo this week! Happy, bright and oh so joyful. We are so happy to see him doing so well 🥰😍

Tick season is here - and staying one step ahead could save your pet’s life.

Paralysis tick cases are already being reported and treated in Queensland, so now is the time to make tick prevention part of your routine.

* Check your pet thoroughly for ticks every day, especially around the head, neck, ears and between the toes.
* Know the warning signs, including weakness or wobbliness, changes to their bark or meow, vomiting, breathing difficulties or collapse.
* Keep preventative treatments up to date - never miss a dose.
* If you find a tick or notice any concerning symptoms, contact your vet immediately.

Patient of the week goes to 3month old kitten Axel.
There is no sweeter baby in the land and our staff were all besotted with this little ginger fluff ball.

Axel visited us today for his Castration procedure.
His day started with some cuddles and a full health check, then onto his desexing procedure. (we won't go into too much detail in case young Axel reads this).
After his procedure came more cuddles, a nice warm bed and some yummy snacks before his mum and dad came to collect him.
