This is a photo of the burrows mapped this year at the end of baades Rd and the ones circled were 158 of that we didn’t have the funds to finish but with two wonderful donations of $$ and Abbey Animal Health donating another drum of drench we could finish the job. So the 158 burrows were set with applicators and checked each week for six weeks with an average of 44 of them being used each week. It just goes to show that two people that care can help us change the future for the wombats in this area 😘a HUGE thanks to those beautiful people

Today we had a wonderful day volunteering at the Mange Control Inc headquarters. We made 85 Wombat burrow applicators and a batch of our very own Tallow soap that will soon be available on our online shop to purchase. We enjoyed Dans yummy fresh out of the oven cookies 🤗 and great conversation and laughter. Reach out to Hailey if you to would like to volunteer your time. Hailey 0407600669.

Love seeing these large burrows being used especially in these areas that there’s lots of mange. The team worked on this area for a few hours on some really steep hillside and managed to find and set with applicators close to one hundred burrows, really good effort today and hope to finish tomorrow with half of that again.

Here’s one of the team Dan redoing his property after two years of mange free🤗our wire flap on our applicators are standing up to the test of time and are very happy to be launching them on our online store

These cost $5 each to anyone who wants to help there population of wombats! For us in materials it costs $4.15 so there’s a little bit towards our program also with the labour done by our hard working slaves😘(volunteers) please get in touch if you’re interested but want some help in starting.
