Happy Thursday! 🐾💚

We’re getting closer to the weekend, but apparently nobody told our daycare crew that we’re supposed to be slowing down! 😂

We’ve got ball hogs, water babies, professional supervisors, wrestlers and a few very important confidence-building missions happening today.

Let’s meet them!

Sheba 🌸🎾 is back on her usual ball-hoarding duties! She’ll happily bring her ball over, make us believe she’s about to hand it back and then sn**ch it away at the very last second. 😂 Apparently we’re only allowed to throw it when SHE decides she’s ready. And yes, the ball is still invited into the tub!

Rusty ☀️🐾 is here to remind everyone that daycare doesn’t have to be complete chaos. A leisurely sniff, some well-deserved pats and a comfortable spot to watch his friends make questionable decisions sounds like a pretty fantastic Thursday.

Holly 💦🐾 has one very important question… IS THE TUB READY?! 😂 Why spend the day running around getting hot when you could be soaking in some lovely cool water? She’s got this whole relaxation thing figured out.

Fred 🐶💚 is settling into his daycare adventures, although he’d still like us to supervise his important investigations, please!

“I’m going to go explore over here… but you’re still watching me, right? RIGHT?!” 😂

He’s learning more about his new surroundings and friends with every session, and we’re loving getting to know this little character!

Lucy 💕🐾 has assessed today’s crew and decided she’ll leave the ridiculous behaviour to everyone else. She’s perfectly happy cruising around, collecting pats and keeping an eye on the action from a sensible distance.

Cerbie 👮‍♂️🐾 has officially clocked on for another shift as head of yard security. Perimeter checks, important sniffing investigations and making sure everyone is behaving appropriately. Pats? Sorry, he’s got a very busy schedule. 😂

Alice 🤸‍♀️🎾 is once again treating fetch like an Olympic event. Every throw is a race, every ball is worth winning and apparently being second is simply not an option. We’re still working on the whole sharing and personal-space thing, but she’s certainly enthusiastic!

Blessing 🐑🎾 has appointed herself head of the herding department. Why simply chase the ball when you can chase EVERYONE who’s chasing the ball? With Alice and Sheba on the field, she’s got plenty of work to do!

Zeno 😈🤼‍♂️ would like to know if anyone is available for a wrestling match. Play bows are out, excited barks are ready and he’s more than happy to keep asking until somebody agrees. 😂 Apparently not everyone shares his enthusiasm for a full-contact Thursday!

Frankie 💚🎾 is continuing to show off that lovely confidence and independence! She’s happy getting involved in fetch, investigating the toys and doing her own thing. Although if Luther isn’t here to steal a ball from, she’ll just have to find another suitable challenge. 😂

Ruby ❤️🎾 has arrived with one very important mission — BALL! Chase it, catch it, give it a good shake and proudly parade around with her prize. It’s hard to believe this is the same girl who once needed help getting into the van. Look at her go! 🥹

A little bit of everything today — from the dogs who want to be involved in absolutely ALL the action to those who are perfectly happy watching from the sidelines.

That’s the beauty of daycare. Every dog has their own personality, their own favourite activities and their own idea of a perfect day.

Now excuse us while we throw another 400 balls and refill Holly’s tub for the millionth time. 🥴😂

Happy Wednesday! 🐾💚

It’s VAN DAY, and apparently our pack members couldn’t care less about the storms rolling around! ⛈️😂

Rain? Whatever. Thunder? Excuse me, we’re trying to play here!

We’ve got a lovely mix of fetch fanatics, water babies, professional supervisors and a few confidence builders who are still figuring out this whole daycare business.

Let’s meet them!

Rusty ☀️🐾 has decided that a little stormy weather isn’t going to ruin his Wednesday. A leisurely sniff around, some pats and a comfortable spot to watch the chaos unfold sound like a perfectly good plan to him!

Holly 💦🐾 is probably wondering why everyone is making such a fuss about the rain. She’s practically a professional water enthusiast! Tub, puddle, a little extra splash — honestly, what’s not to love? 😂

Sheba 🌸🎾 has her ball and that’s really all that matters. She’ll happily carry it around, tease us into thinking she’s going to hand it over and then sn**ch it back at the last second. Apparently even the storms can’t interrupt her very important ball-hoarding duties!

Fred 🐶💚 is back for another adventure after his very first daycare session yesterday! There’s still SO much to investigate, but he’d just like to confirm that we’re available to supervise all his important activities.

“You can watch me explore, but please don’t wander off. I might need you!” 😂

One session at a time, little man!

Annie 🌸💨 likes to begin her day with a thorough friendship inspection. She’ll sit back, watch everyone and happily roll onto her back if another dog comes over to say hello. Once she’s decided everyone is friendly and the introductions are complete… LET THE ZOOMIES BEGIN! 😂

Minzi 🌱💕 would like a moment to assess the situation before committing to any activities, thank you very much. Once she’s had her usual warm-up time, she’s happy to come over for some love and enjoy the day at her own pace. 💚

Basil 🌿🐾 is continuing his daycare education! With so many different personalities around, there’s plenty of opportunity to practise reading his friends’ signals, learning when someone wants to play and when they need a little breathing room.

Stormie ⚡🎾 has heard there might be storms today and would like to clarify that this does NOT mean fetch is cancelled. She’s got a ball to chase and a very important schedule to maintain. 😂

Sadie 🐑🎾 has appointed herself head of the fetch department once again. With Stormie and Sheba running around, somebody needs to keep this little herd organised!

Luther 🦴💨 favourite toy secured and ready for action! He’s more than capable of carrying one toy while chasing another, because apparently playing just one game at a time is completely unnecessary.

Diego 🐞💋 is still not entirely convinced that the ball itself is worth all this excitement. But chasing the dogs who are chasing the ball? Absolutely! Throw in a few bug investigations and some kisses and he’s having a fantastic Wednesday.

Ellie (Cattle) 💋🛁 is bouncing her way through another daycare day! A little running, a quick dip in the tub and then straight back over to collect her mandatory pats, kisses and belly rubs. Rain or shine, this girl has her priorities sorted!

The weather might be looking a little questionable, but our pack members are determined to make the most of their day — with plenty of supervised fun, indoor or undercover breaks when needed and hopefully a whole lot of tired pups heading home!

DROP-OFF DAY!!! 🐾💚

Hey there, Tuesday! 👋

We’ve got a lovely mix of familiar faces and THREE brand-new pack members joining us today! 🥹 Some are ready to dive straight into the action, while others are still figuring out what this whole daycare business is about.

And that’s exactly what we love about our smaller drop-off days — everyone gets the opportunity to settle in at their own pace.

Let’s meet them!

Ragnar 👑🎾 has arrived ready for another very important day of ball collecting. Fewer dogs means fewer competitors, which obviously means MORE BALLS FOR RAGNAR. At least that’s how he sees it. 😂

Sheba 🌸🎾 is back to her usual ball-hoarding antics! She’ll happily bring it over, pretend she’s going to give it back and then sn**ch it away before we can grab it. Apparently we’re only allowed to throw it when SHE decides she’s ready. 😂

Rusty ☀️🐾 is here to remind everyone that daycare doesn’t have to be complete chaos. A leisurely sniff, some sunshine and a few well-deserved pats sound like a pretty fantastic Tuesday to him.

Holly 💦🐾 has one very important question… WHERE’S THE WATER?! 😂 A good soak in the tub, a little wander around and then straight back for another dip. Why stay dry when you could be a giant fluffy sponge?

Luka 💨🎾 spins activated and toys at the ready! He’s bouncing between fetch, squeaky toys and making sure we understand that whatever he’s currently carrying absolutely needs to be thrown. Immediately, please!

Luna 🌙💚 is continuing her daycare journey at her own pace. She’s still learning about all the different personalities around her and discovering that there’s no pressure to join in until she feels comfortable. Every little bit of confidence counts!

Fred 🐶💚 WELCOME TO DAYCARE, FRED! 🎉 There is SO much to see, smell and investigate on his very first day! He’s keen to explore, but there’s just one little condition…

“Excuse me, can you please supervise me doing all these things? Don’t go too far, okay? I need to know you’re still there!” 😂

He’s happy to investigate his new surroundings as long as we’ve got his back. Fair enough, mate!

Georgie 🌸🐾 is another one of our gorgeous first-timers, although she’s decided she’d much rather sit back and observe today.

“Hello, yes, I see you all over there. That’s lovely. I’ll just be sitting over HERE, away from both the dogs and the humans, thank you very much.” 🥹

She’s feeling a little nervous and would prefer everyone respect her personal bubble while she figures things out. And you know what? That’s perfectly okay! 💚

Linnhe 🌷🐾 is our THIRD newcomer for the day and Georgie’s sister!

Unlike her sister, Linnhe has decided she might actually like to get involved… she’s just not entirely sure what that involves yet. 😂

“I think I’d like to participate, but perhaps I’ll just stand here in the middle of the yard. Close enough that I can see you, but not quite close enough for you to touch me. Perfect!”

She’s curious, she’s watching and she’s working things out on her own terms. We’ll take it!

Three new faces, three completely different approaches to their first day, and not one of them is wrong. 🥹

Some dogs dive straight into the fun, some need a familiar human nearby, and others prefer to watch from a distance until they’re ready.

Our job isn’t to rush them — it’s to give them the space, guidance and encouragement they need to build confidence in their own time.

We can’t wait to watch Fred, Georgie and Linnhe settle in, make friends and discover what daycare has to offer. 💚

Happy Monday! 🐾💚

We’re starting the week off STRONG! 💪😂

Honestly, I’m starting to think these big numbers are becoming the new normal for our daycare pack… and you know what? WE’RE LOVING IT! 💚

With 15 dogs on today’s roster, we’ve got fetch fanatics, wrestlers, professional supervisors, water babies and a few who are just here for the cuddles.

Let’s meet them!

Raven 🖤🤼‍♂️ is getting more and more comfortable with his daycare friends! He’s discovering that wrestling is a pretty fantastic way to spend a Monday, and with this many potential playmates, he’s certainly got plenty of options!

Ragnar 👑🎾 has arrived for another very important shift at the Ball Collection Department. One ball in his mouth, another one under surveillance and approximately 47 others that he believes should also belong to him. 😂

Sheba 🌸🎾 is back to her usual ball-hoarding antics! She’ll happily bring it over, make you believe she’s about to hand it back and then SN**CH it away at the last second. Apparently fetch is now a game of catch me if you can. 😂

Cerbie 👮‍♂️🐾 has looked at today’s numbers and realised his supervisory duties are only getting harder. There are perimeters to inspect, smells to investigate and 14 other dogs making questionable decisions that apparently require his attention.

Millie 💨🎾 long legs activated! She’s ready to chase balls, throw in some zoomies and make sure she’s right amongst whatever exciting game is happening next.

Ellie (Collie) 🐾💚 if Millie is running, Ellie is probably right behind her! She’s always keen to be involved, whether that’s fetch, wrestling or simply joining the chaos because everyone else seems to be having fun.

Blessing 🐑🎾 with this many dogs running around, her herding department is officially working overtime. Why chase the ball when you can round up EVERYONE chasing the ball? Someone has to keep this operation organised!

Annie 🌸💨 prefers to begin her day observing the crew and making sure everyone is friendly. If another dog approaches, she’ll happily roll over to introduce herself. Once she’s completed her friendship inspections and decided everyone passes… LET THE ZOOMIES BEGIN! 😂

Ruby ❤️🎾 is ready for another big day of fetch! Chase the ball, grab the ball, shake the ball like it personally offended her and then proudly parade around with her prize. A very productive Monday indeed.

Butch 💪🤼‍♂️ is continuing to show off that growing confidence! He’s becoming much more comfortable amongst the crew and is always happy to investigate a potential wrestling match when the opportunity presents itself.

Paddy 🌱🐾 is happy taking things at his own pace, keeping an eye on Butch and watching the madness unfold. He’ll get involved when he’s ready, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being part of the observation committee either!

Jazz 🎉🐾 is bringing her usual enthusiasm to the Monday crew! Whether there’s a game to join, friends to follow or something interesting happening across the yard, she wants to know about it.

Lizzie 💦💨 has arrived with a very important checklist: zoomies, tubs, dirt and perhaps a little more zooming just to be sure. If we’ve recently cleaned the water, she’ll be happy to fix that for us. 🥴😂

Ellie (Cattle) 💋🛁 is bouncing her way through another daycare day! A little running with the crew, a quick cool-off in the tub and then straight back to us for her mandatory allocation of pats, kisses and belly rubs.

Zeus 👑🎾 has absolutely no interest in discussing how many dogs are here today. He has one question and one question only… WHERE IS HIS BALL?! Not that one. Not the other one. HIS one. Please locate it immediately so fetch can commence. 😂

And that’s our Monday crew! 🐾💚

Big numbers, big personalities and a whole lot of happy dogs. It’s pretty special seeing how much our pack has grown, especially watching those friendships and confidence levels grow right alongside it.

Now excuse us while we go throw approximately 700 balls and refill the tubs for the fifth time. 🥴😂

🐾 A Little Goodbye to the Geltch Farmyard! 🐮🐓🐐

Throughout August and September, our Hodgson Pack team had the absolute pleasure of looking after the wonderful Geltch farmyard while their family enjoyed some time away!

And when we say farmyard, we mean a WHOLE farmyard! 🤣

🐓 30 chickens
🐟 A few fish
🐮 2 gorgeous Highland cows
🐐 3 cheeky goats
🐴 1 Shetland pony
🐱 1 cat
🐶 And 3 beautiful dogs!

With their family away for an extended period, our team provided a mixture of house visits and overnight house stays, making sure everyone was fed, loved and cared for.

We were also incredibly lucky that the family welcomed us into their home, allowing us to make ourselves comfortable, enjoy the pool and even fire up the BBQ during our stays! Safe to say, this was a pretty special booking for our team. 🥹

Of course, our biggest priority was making sure all the animals were happy, comfortable and hopefully missing their humans just a little less. 💚

Unfortunately, during our time caring for the farmyard, we had to say goodbye to beautiful Crank. 🌈🐾

Crank was such a special boy, and while it was heartbreaking, we feel incredibly privileged to have been trusted with his care during his final days. He’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.

To the Geltch family, thank you for trusting our team with your home and your entire four-legged (and two-legged!) family. Your kindness and generosity certainly didn’t go unnoticed.
