So happy with our home-bred 2yo filly Porscha (Leonardo Da Hinchi x All Square) 💫

A huge thank you to Brock Lewthwaite of Brock Racing for doing all the groundwork — breaking her in to saddle and guiding her through the very early stages of her 2yo prep. She’s progressing beautifully and we couldn’t be happier with how she’s coming along.

We’re super excited to watch Porscha continue her journey, and a big thank you as well to her fantastic team of owners who have shown her nothing but support from day one. Exciting times ahead 🏇✨🍾

🖤 RIP – Mallawa Park Pseudo Echo 🖤
6 October 2008 – 19 December 2025

Friday was a devastating day for all of us at Midas Performance Horses, as we said goodbye to our much-loved Arabian Pony stallion, Mallawa Park Pseudo Echo, after a very severe case of colic.

We purchased Echo from Mallawa Park as a yearling c**t from Harry Hartelt and Elaine Hartelt 16 years ago, and we will always feel incredibly privileged to have had the opportunity to own him. He was the second Mallawa Park pony we have owned, and we cannot speak highly enough of both the ponies and their exceptional breeding.

Echo was truly a lad’s lad and ruled the roost here at Midas. Anyone who knew him knew that in-hand showing wasn’t really his thing—but put a rider on his back and give him a job to do, and he absolutely shone.

From a fairly limited show career, Echo achieved an outstanding list of accolades, including:

Echo has left a huge hole here at Midas and is deeply missed.
We would like to sincerely thank Jon Kelly for being there with us during Echo’s final moments and for the support you gave us through such a heartbreaking time. We truly appreciate everything you did.

Echo leaves behind what we hope will be a lasting legacy, with some beautiful progeny that we look forward to competing in the coming years. His influence, personality, and heart will live on through them.

✨ First Confirmed Pregnancy of the Season! ✨

We’re thrilled to announce that the beautiful purebred Arabian mare Chatahn Paris Dreaming is officially in foal to our resident stallion, the stunning Glenwood Park Exclamation!

This 2026 foal will be a full brother or sister to Midas Painted in Paris and the yet-to-be-competed Midas Je T’adore — a pairing we absolutely adore and are so excited to repeat.

Baby is due August 2026, and we can’t wait to watch Paris’s journey to motherhood once again. ❤️

Last week we were absolutly over the moon to welcome our thoroughbred c**t “Maz” into the world. He was perfect! big,strong,bold and ever so cheeky.

Unfortunately after 48 hours of being with us he become very unwell, the vets tried everything to save him but his condition kept deteriorating, unfortunately he just couldn’t be saved.

We were so shocked and devistated to lose this special boy.

RIP Maz 🕊️
