✨ Learning, growing & bringing it back to our dogs ✨

Recently, our wonderful Ella travelled to Marcoola on the Sunshine Coast to undertake a specialised deshedding course with world champion stylist Shayla Knipe 🐾✂️

And she’s not stopping there! Ella will be heading back at the end of September for an intensive grooming course to continue building her skills and knowledge.

At Doggy Dayspa, we believe there’s always more to learn. 💙 Upskilling isn’t just about becoming better groomers — it’s about providing the best possible care for every dog who steps into our vans.

Having the opportunity to learn new techniques from incredible mentors within our industry means we can bring that knowledge home and put it into practice every day with our Doggy Dayspa families.

We’re incredibly proud of Ella for investing in her craft, and we can’t wait to see what she brings back from her next training adventure! 🐶✨

Just a little update on our new van 🚐

I’ve had a few people asking lately where the new van is. To give you an update, the van has had the fitout completed however it is now off the road for repairs 🙈

The week we went to put the van on the road, we took it for a drive and the dash lit up with a dozen electrical faults. We thought it would be a simple diagnostic issue however… it turns out rats have eaten through all of the electrical wiring so the van requires a complete wiring replacement 😩🐀

We’re currently liaising with the dealership to sort this out so you will still be seeing the trailer for a little longer!

On the positive side, our old van gets new air conditioning installed this week so we will be all set with fully air conditioned vehicles in time for summer 😁☀️

The first of many adventures... 🐾

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Chai, a gorgeous little Spoodle with the biggest smile and an endlessly curious personality.

His very first Puppy Introduction was a wonderful success. He explored, learned, built confidence... and even decided it was the perfect time for a little nap during his blow dry 🐶

At Doggy Dayspa, our Puppy Introduction sessions are never rushed. Every puppy is given the time and space to explore new sights, sounds and equipment at their own pace. By following their natural curiosity and creating positive experiences, we help lay the foundations for a lifetime of happy, stress-free grooming.

We can’t wait to watch Chai grow and be part of his grooming journey for many years to come. 🐶✨
