Popular poodle clips #5! - The puppy clip.
I haven’t done one of these posts for quite a while, but it’s that time of year when I tend to be a bit more creative with my poodles - you’ll find the first 4 in this series amongst posts from a similar time last year 😁
The clip - used in the show ring in the puppy classes (not allowed in adult classes), this is a neat clip that shows off the shape of the growing poodle, but in regular life is easy to care for when kept short (my man Shroomy here is at 22mm length of coat, which requires a lot more brushing than say, a 4 blade that I would use in a standard groom like this), without losing the distinctive appearance of a poodle. Clean face and feet make this groom suitable even in spring and summer when grass seeds in eyes and toes can be problematic.
