We have qualified instructors and can cater for everyone, even if you dont own a horse 💙

🐴 Discover the Giants: Heavy Horse Meet & Greet! 🪵

Everyone knows the magnificent Carlton Clydesdales, but did you know "Clydies" are just one piece of the heavy horse puzzle?

The world of draught horses is massive, featuring incredible breeds like the Percheron, Shire, Suffolk Punch, Belgian, and the Ardennes. But how much do you know about our very own Australian Draught Horse?

If you love horses, want to know what makes these gentle giants tick, or are just curious about traditional bush skills, this afternoon is for you!

🛠️ What We’ll Be Chatting About:
The Breeds: The history and makeup of Australia's own heavy horse.
• Traditional Harnessing: The basics of how to harness up to snig a log for firewood.
• Bush Tools: What on earth is a "slide," and how do you use one to clear rocks?
• Good Old-Fashioned Fun: A relaxed afternoon filled with horse talk.

📅 Event Details:

• When: Saturday, 4th July 2026

• Time: 2:00 PM (for an hour or two)

• Where:Valor Park Equestrian Centre

Soon we will be offering lessons where you can BYO (bring your own) horse to Valor Park Riding Academy. These lessons will be conducted in small, supportive, like-minded groups.

If you're not ready for group lessons yet, we can offer one-on-one lessons until you are. Reach out if this is something you'd like to be a part of 💙
