We are located on the main road into Terrigal, a scenic beachside town approximately 80km north of Sydney. Our new purpose-built veterinary hospital was completed in March 2005 and provides state of the art facilities. Our practice was established in 1989, and has been providing quality health care to the Central Coast’s pet and wildlife population throughout that time.
• We offer ample safe off street parking in our landscaped parking area.
• We are an exclusive companion animal practice (i.e. small animals such as...dogs, cats, rabbits, birds).
• We have dog and cat grooming and cat boarding facilities.
• Recieve free product information and advice over the counter by our trained veterinary nurses.
• We offer puppy pre-school classes for new puppy socialisation and training.
• We provide an extensive range of animal health products such as flea, worming, heartworm products & premium diets.
• Our qualified nurses will give you free professional advice on your purchase of our quality products.

Happy (belated) Vet Nurse Day! 🐾💙

Yes, it was Friday, oops! Our nurses were too busy to be photographed. Probably wrangling a boisterous Labrador or explaining to a very vocal cat that this is for their own good. So here's a photo of the gang from a recent outing instead 😁

They run the anaesthetics, the labs, the treatments, the cuddles for scared patients, and the calm for nervous owners (just to name a few tasks in the never ending list).

Basically, the hospital runs because they do. To our vet nurses (and all vet nurses out there): thank you. You're brilliant, and we'd be lost without you!

🎓 Puppy preschool graduation night 🎓

We are so proud of our most recent class of puppy graduates.
We definitely had some big personalities in this class but it was great to see all of them come out of their shells over the past few weeks and build up their confidence and make plenty of new friends.

🐾 We are now taking bookings for our next puppy preschool class 🐾

📅 Starting: October 15th @ 6:15pm (located at Terrigal Vet Hospital)

If you have a puppy aged between 6-16 weeks this is the perfect time to enrol them into puppy preschool.

During out 4 week course we go over a number of topics including but not limited to,
🚽 Toilet training
👣 Lead walking
🐶 Basic commands
🏥 Healthcare
🐜 Parasite prevention

Please be advised the latest update regarding H5N1 Bird flu.

Here at Terrigal Veterinary Hospital we ask that any avian patients wait outside of the clinic and advise us on arrival.

If you have any sick or injured birdlife requiring veterinary attention, please contact the emergency animal disease hotline for advice on 1800 675 888 before heading to a veterinary hospital.

Please be advised we will be closing early today to help out one of the local rescues we partner with by desexing a large number of EXTRA SUPER DOOPER CUTE KITTENS so they can be rehomed!
