Many people assume ticks are only a problem in the warmer months, but pets can still pick them up during winter.

This little patient came in with a tiny nymph tick attached near his eye. Nymph ticks are very small and can be difficult to spot, which is why prevention is so important.

Don’t let the cooler weather catch you out.

Interesting case from Terranora Vets 💖

This sweet patient presented with a brownish tinge to her urine and frequent urination. Radiographs revealed bladder stones and Dr Ashleigh performed a cystotomy to safely remove them.

The patient is already feeling much more comfortable now that the stones have been removed. 🐶

In the “before” photo, heavy tartar build up was causing severe gingivitis and significant tooth pain. Inflamed, bleeding gums and infection like this are not just cosmetic, they are painful and can affect eating, behaviour, and overall health.
