Kelsey is away for the next few weeks enjoying a well-deserved break, and we’re very grateful to have locum vet Sophie joining us while she’s away!
Sophie has joined us from South East Queensland, where she runs a thoroughbred farm. She graduated from Sydney University in 1994 and has worked across dairy and mixed practice in Tasmania, Victoria and NSW before settling in Queensland, where she spent the past 20 years in small animal practice.
When she’s not at work, Sophie has a small menagerie of her own - three much-loved dogs (two Ridgebacks and a Dachshund), a cat, chickens, guinea fowl, horses and cattle… as well as a two-legged family!
She’s really looking forward to meeting the animals of Tennant Creek, getting to know our clients and exploring this spectacular part of the country.
