Just a little update on Lucy

Lucy had her surgery last Wednesday and it was a big one. She underwent a long procedure (around 2 hours) to repair her nasal fistula and had multiple infected teeth removed. Thankfully, the vet was able to save a few teeth which will help support her jaw structure moving forward

She also had a mass removed from her side which had been causing irritation and was quite infected.

Recovery has been going really well so far. We’re keeping a very close eye on the stitches from her fistula repair, as it was a difficult area to close, but everything is looking really positive at this stage

The biggest difference though… is Lucy herself
She is honestly like a different dog. She’s bouncing around like a puppy, playing with the other dogs, and constantly asking for pats and attention.

We will leave her page open for any donations towards her medical bills, we truely appreciate any support for Lucy 💕

✨We’ve been busy little bees in the salon✨
The girls have been doing additional training with igroomschool and Emma has been undergoing some refresher courses!

❄️ Winter Grooming ❄️

With the colder weather, we all love letting our pups’ coats grow — but this doesn’t mean no maintenance.

This is the time of year we see the worst matting — jumpers, moisture, longer coats… it all builds up fast.

If you want to keep your dog fluffy through winter, we recommend 4–6 week grooming appointments.

We can work with you to maintain or grow coat length — this may look like longer clips, with regular sanitary grooming and tidy-ups to help prevent uncomfortable matting.

Otherwise… it often ends in a full shave down halfway through winter (which nobody wants 😬)

We’re all for longer coats — they just need maintenance to match

Our surrender dog Lucy is scheduled for her surgery next week. If you wish to donate towards her medical bills we would be grateful! We are giving Lucy a pain free happy life vs the euthanasia she was facing before she was handed into our care 💕
