What a great weekend at the SAQ - Standardbred Association of QLD - Page State Hacking and Harness Championships in Gatton. For our first time there as a competitor it was a great learning curve with a lot to work towards for the future.
Very proud of what Jesse (Im Jesse James) achieved.

Thanks to Queensland Off The Track for the sponsorship towards the event.

Remembering how not to be a 💩🤦🏼‍♀️
Or maybe it’s a new dance move 🕺🤷🏼‍♀️
Well, he has been 4 years not under saddle.
Little by little for the giraffe child.

Silverdale Dug O War (Duggi)
Almost 3 years unridden. This boy is like none other I have worked with. His way of getting attention was to be naughty so that he got into trouble. Therefore, getting attention, however negative it was. Working through his bad habits to create new ones takes time and consistency. Something I now have the opportunity to do. I can’t wait for his progress. He is worth it.

So many things under way here at Silverdale Park Equine.

Here is a bit of an update:
🦄 20m round yard with lights fully functional
🦄 flat riding arena (70x30) slowly coming together
🦄 holding yards roughly in place just needing to be secured
🦄 1 set jump wings and poles
🦄 1 cross country training jump

There is so much more to come as each of these things grow and develop day by day.
There will be retaining horses coming through in the near future when additional paddocks become reality.
I can’t wait until more dreams, with the help of hard work, take shape.

The time of year when all horse owners help the birds make their nests for spring 🤣🕊️🦄

Call out from a friend as one of their foals hadn’t been seen. The terrain meant buggies and cars couldn’t be used, so fun in the sun on the run was the way to go. Good news as little Wildfire was found and brought in by the big guns at the end.

How exciting is this!! An absolutely amazing sport to try if you haven’t already.
