Even superheroes' joints slow down a little in their senior years. But that doesn't mean the cape comes off! 🦇 Just like humans, cold weather can make arthritis worse for our pets, especially the older ones.
Watch for these signs your furry hero might need backup:
🦴 Stiffness getting up after a nap
🐕 Slowing down on walks
🪜 Trouble with stairs or jumping into the car
🚶 Limping or stiff movement
🐾 Licking at sore paws or joints
😴 Not wanting to play like they used to

Following a suspected positive case of H5 Bird Flu (Avian Influenza) detected in a Giant Petrel at Hawks Nest, we are taking immediate precautions to protect our patients, clients, staff and local wildlife.
🚫 We will not be accepting birds into our clinic until further notice.

If you find a sick, injured or deceased bird or animal:

You may have noticed some construction happening outside, this week as a fantastic new footpath is being installed.

We're still open and operating as usual, and our team is here to care for your furry family members.

🚗 For the time being, please park on the other side of the road (Lloyd George Grove) or park on President Wilson Walk for easy access.

We appreciate your patience while these improvements are being completed. The new footpath will make visiting us even easier and safer in the future!
