Another win for the Congressman progeny. Out of our great mare Pep N Coda Lena, we just love Bosslady.

A very successful weekend so far for Hazelwood Congressman connections, his daughter ARLEE BOSSLADY & Huon Smith winning the Cooyar RESTRICTED OPEN, after not 1, but 2 run offs!

They entered the final with a 7 point deficit, but they made up valuable ground in the final, top scoring with a margin of 5 points. The run off was on, but it still couldn't separate the 2 contenders, another one was on the cards.

2nd out with an 80 to beat, an 86 sealed the deal.

Huge congratulations Huon and to owners Richard & Georgia Chugg.

We had a great time over in South Carolina, helping our great friends, the Morris family, at Creek Plantation.

The southeastern United States really is a unique part of the world. The landscape, climate, history and culture give it a character all of its own, and there’s a strong sense of tradition that you notice everywhere you go.

Creek Plantation is a pretty special place in its own right. We really enjoyed being a small part of what they’re doing there, working with some great horses and, most importantly, some genuinely good people.

A huge thank you to the Morris family for their friendship and hospitality and for making us feel so welcome.
Hopefully it won’t be too long before we’re back.

Back home after visiting our great friends the Morris family at Creek Plantation in South Carolina. Such an amazing place with some wonderful horses.
