🐾 Breed: American Staffy cross
👦 Gender: Male
🎂 Age: 5 years old
🆔 Microchipped

🚨☹️ 9 year old staffy Oreo is URGENT ☹️🚨

❌ When we post that a dog is URGENT. They are in CRITICAL need of a home or rescue ❌ These dogs are on a list! 🚨 They are not directly adoptable from the pound, they are not long termers waiting, and they DO NOT have time to waste ☹️

In saying that, this little senior man Oreo is SUPER URGENT‼️ He is 9 years old and in the pound.

❌ Urgent rescue needed for Oreo. He is struggling in the kennel environment and requires specialised care. He is not adapting well to the busy shelter surroundings and needs immediate assistance ❌

Oreo is the cutest little boy. Look at that Smile 😀 He came into the pound with a large red area on his neck / chest. It is unclear what has happened to him but he has obviously not been cared for well ☹️

Oreo is an affectionate little man but he is excitable and finds it difficult to be calm around humans. He is eager for attention and this is to be expected in the stressful environment of the pound. He can bite the lead which could be another behaviour related to his stress or he may never have been walked. This can be managed with training and consistency in a home. He needs out of the pound now!

Oreo will need a loving, supportive and caring home ❤️ A family commitment to helping him settle into a new home and give him the training and consistency he needs. Something he may not have ever had 😔

💙 Name: Oreo
🆔 IMP-26-01634
🐾 Breed: Staffy cross
🍰 Age: 9 years old (a senior boy)
🙋‍♂️Gender: Male
✅ Microchipped, vaccinated & flea and worm treated.
✅ Will be desexed by rescue
🏥 Any vet work needed will be covered by rescue
🏋️‍♂️ Weight: approximately 19kg
🐈 Cats: No cats
🐕 Dogs: Oreo appears to have nice social skills but a meet with your dog would be required to assess compatibility.
👧 Children: Older dog savvy children.
🏡 Home: A home with a backyard
📍Location: A NSW Western Sydney pound

If you would like to help Oreo make it out of the pound, please complete the form below👇

🎉❤️Woo Hoo! Eddie has been adopted❤️🎉

Gorgeous little Eddie (previously Porridge), sadly found himself in the pound and needing rescue following a not so good interaction with a families dog at a meet and greet ☹️ We became aware of his situation and posted him to try and find him a home 🤞We were overwhelmed with applications for the adorable little man 🤗

The application that stood out was Deb’s 😊 She went to meet him at the pound with our rescue founder Elaine and it was love at first sight 😍 He went home that day and has now been officially adopted 🎉

⭐️ A few words from Eddie’s mum Deb ⭐️

Eddie has walked into our house and filled our hearts with so much love and joy 🥰 He enjoys sleeping on mums bed, and snuggles every chance he gets. Eddie’s personality is starting to come out with great Staffy noises! 😊
Thank you so much Rescue Hub for saving this gorgeous boy. You’re all legends ❤

Thank you Deb, Lochlan and Dylon for giving Eddie his wonderful second chance 🙏 He looks so happy and very much loved 🤗 It’s heartwarming to see the little man settling in to his forever home so well. We are very pleased to welcome you all into the Rescue Hub family 🧡🐾

❌ Urgent rescue needed for Seasmoke. He is struggling in the kennel environment and requires specialised care. He is not adapting well to the busy shelter surroundings and needs immediate assistance ❌

Seasmoke is a cute and friendly little staffy that really needs to be in a home environment. He is young, excitable and just needs someone to show him love, care and commitment and give him the time and training that any puppy needs 🤗 He can be jumpy when excited but with time and consistency this is easily addressed.

He is affectionate, playful and loves his toys 🧸 Could he be your new best friend 🙏

💙 🎊Yay! Prince has been adopted 🎊 💙

Just a puppy, adorable Prince was saved (along with his sister) from a NSW pound after they sadly ended up on a critical list ☹️ They were fearful and avoidant of humans and this put them at risk. Prince went to True Blue Dog Behaviour & training where he thrived, received training & came out of his shell. Many members of our team met him and whilst still a little timid and wary, he was a very sweet and adorable big boy 🤗

Julie and Michael applied to adopt Prince and went to meet him a couple of times. All went very well and he has now been officially adopted 🥳

⭐️ A few words from Prince’s mum ⭐️

My husband, Michael and myself just love Prince to death 🥰 We get really excited when we see little advancements towards his socialisation. He is heading in the right direction ❤️

Thank you Julie and Michael for welcoming Prince into your hearts and home 🙏 It is wonderful to see him doing so well in his home with you. So many adventures and new and exciting experiences. A very scared pup initially, now living the beautiful life that he very much deserves. We welcome you all into the Rescue Hub family 🧡🐾

🩵 🐾 Slim needs to find his people 🐾🩵

This beautiful blue boy is Slim. Just look at that big gorgeous smile 😀 He is just adorable ❤️

Slim is a very loving, goofy and affectionate boy who thinks he's a lap dog! He’s at his happiest cuddled up with his people 🥰 He loves to play hide and seek and is the happiest soul.

Slim was in a foster-to-adopt arrangement, but his foster carer's circumstances have changed and they are no longer able to adopt him — so he is now URGENTLY looking for his forever home‼️

❌ We do not want Slim to have to go back to living in a kennel ❌

Slim has had training and generally walks well on a lead, though he has shown some selective reactivity to other dogs. Slim will do best with an experienced staffy owner committed to continuing his training to help him improve, gain confidence and be the best boy he can be 😊

💙 About Slim 💙
🐾 Breed: American Staffy cross
🙋‍♂️ Gender: Male
🎂 Age: 4 years old
🏋️ Approximate weight: 28kgs
🆔 Microchipped
✅ Vaccinated, desexed & flea & worm treated
🐈‍⬛ Cats: No cats
🐕 Other dogs: Must be an only dog in the home at this stage. Slim has had good interactions with other dogs but can be reactive on the lead.
🧒 Children: Could live with older, dog-savvy children
🏡 A home with a securely fenced yard or courtyard would be ideal
📍 Location: Maroubra NSW

❌ SHORT TERM FOSTER CARER HAS BEEN FOUND ❌

Extremely URGENT home needed for this gorgeous little, senior girl named Honey‼️

She is all ALONE and wondering where her owner has gone ☹️

Honey’s owner has been hospitalized and will be going into care post her hospital admission. Her owner will sadly not be able to take Honey with her 😢

🆘 The home she is living in must be vacated asap and Honey has NOWHERE TO GO 🆘

Look at that adorable little face 💕 We must help her! Honey warms fairly quickly when meeting new people. We would prefer to find her a home where someone is home more often than not, this would be best for her as this is what she is used to ❤️ She enjoys her walks and is used to being walked on a harness, she is house trained, she appears to like the car, & is a very sweet little girl 🥰

🩷 Name: Honey
🐾 Breed: English staffy
👧 Gender: Female
🎂 Age: 11 years old
🏋️ Weight: Approximately 18kgs
🆔 Microchipped
✅ Desexed
✅ Any additional vet work needed will be covered by Rescue Hub.
✅ Honey will be flea and worm treated & receive a booster vaccination if required
🐶 Other dogs: Recommend ONLY DOG home at this stage. May be okay when meeting male dogs if introduced correctly.
🐈 Cats: no cats
🏡 Home: A home with a yard or courtyard with secure fencing.
📍 Location: Katoomba NSW

If you would like to foster, or foster to adopt Honey please complete the applicable application form below👇
