To work with communities, businesses and government agencies where all domesticated animals (cats, dogs, rabbits & other small animals, birds, rescued native animals) are respected and no longer abandoned, or ill-treated. A collaboration of small volunteer based rescue groups, of like minded volunteers caring for kitties rescued from the streets and pounds etc based in Sydney, regional areas and other states.

Loss of native grasslands to blame for most threatened Aussie lizard! (Not "foxes and cats")
Interesting story of a new population found in an agriculture block and the use of dogs to detect s**t of these precious lizards.

This Friday is the last greyhound race at Wentworth Park - rally supported by a few, BUT this is CLOVER firmly putting the boot into the Premier & state govt for setting up the new track out west. ENJOY!

I recall in 2016 the joy for less than 24 hours that the industry would close down. Sadly, it cruelly continues!!

:( Right now, we doubt the NSW govt including OLG is even close to developing new slightly screwed up legislation for community cats such as the following in USA - in our opinion "ahead of us" but "screwed up"
:( We agree with the identification of the constraints on community cats and their caregivers (cerers and rescuers).
:( Sadly these "messed up" legal obligations are what is put forward from a government department which shows they are inexperienced, and driven by archaic government goals... not One Welfare for best outcomes for animals nor people involved with them, nor the holistic communities.

Tad late for brumbies, and domestic cats being targeted by cat haters is on fire from Invasive Species Council misinformation!!!

Where's the funding? When do people get employed? And start acting in these roles in the office team? When does the scope get increased?

When will the advice of ALL the companion animal inquiries and reviews be supported:
* Vet Shortages,
* Pounds,
* Management of Cat Populations &
* the Review of the Companion Animal Act (aka the dog's breakfast)

Cat hate & harm, acts of cruelty need to be called out. Here in Australia, start with the animal welfare organisations engaged by our state / territory governments to investigate, take action and enforce the legal penalties such as RSPCA, or AWL

It is likely more than the "usual" level of support needs to be increased given the cat hate driven by Invasive Species Council lobby group and cohorts. We view their "foxes and cats" mantra is influencing increased cat hate in urban areas.

😡😡😡 Do you also keep sighting repeats of all Aussie cats being blamed for native wildlife extinctions? We clarify that these demonising broad-brush statements are significantly flawed. And we know that demonising roaming cats influences cat haters to harm or c*ll cats, even pet cats. Land clearing and climate change (even by a few degrees changes) can have devastating impacts to wildlife.

😻😻😻 Domestic cats in urban areas are often contained or roaming in areas where land has been substantially cleared and wildlife decimated by human developments. Further there are studies (more than in our brief video) which provide that regular feeding with desexing (steralisation) likely reduces their roaming and hunting behaviours plus more. Of course, this may not be true for evru single cat, however ti shows that these findings are significant.

😎😎😎 Updating our research, we found the Hawaiʻi Animal Advocacy, who have recently published similar, more detailed and significant information - Hawai has also been labeled with being an Extinction Capital of the World, disputed by the HAA. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR WORK, do not just summarise with AI. We will be assessing leveraging and acknowledging their efforts in the near future.

💜💜💜 We encourage all cat supporters to call out the demonising and flawed, broad-brushing of domestic cats in Australia and impacts to wildlife. Surely by now everyone is aware we all need funded research on the ground in local areas.

:( Aussie butterflies & moths most at risk... due to land clearing & climate (not "foxes and cats"). This story first explains how many of these special animals are at risk, and then the most gorgeous little houses which were hand made to very rigid specifications, the "just right" fit!! :) Get in quick, unless someone will pick up and make from now on!

BS from Legge again?
Conservation fencing to keep out ALL introduced threats is the best way forward as it keeps out humans and the native vegetation can be preserved. That's been known for years, so why is it a topic now? Just to keep repeating "foxes and cats" when it should clearly be "feral cats" not domestic cats in urban areas where vegetation and wildlife were decimated long ago?

More BS Bad Science from Legge again, it is land clearing which has caused / contributed most to extinctions. Then impacts of climate change such as fires, droughts and floods, but vegetation is now being impacted by even small increases in temperatures.“Habitat loss and clearing has caused the extinction of 62 Australian terrestrial species since European colonisation" Aussie Dept of Env

😎😎😎 Thanks to Mike and team at The Pulse - Today's News Talk another segment on the attack on domestic cats by Jack Gough invasive Species Council and Sue Higginson Greens NSW who proposed a "special task force" as an alternative to humane euthanasia by vets for domestic cats in urban areas. 😡😡😡
🤬 Will there be "blood on the streets" as viewed of the Control of Cats Bill with its potential to increase violence to roaming cats?
