I am truly honoured to receive this recognition.
Serving as President of the GSDCA has been a privilege, and one I have been proud to undertake alongside so many passionate and dedicated people within our German Shepherd community.
This award is not just about one person it reflects the support, commitment and teamwork of our club members, committees, exhibitors, breeders, handlers and volunteers who work tirelessly for the betterment of our breed. Thank you again for this recognition. I sincerely appreciate it and will always value the friendships, memories and experiences that have come from serving our breed.

Happy Sunday everyone
To say I’m excited to step back into the show ring with my dogs is an understatement.

Over the years, many people have kindly asked why I stepped away from showing. When I accepted the role of President of the GSDCA in February 2020, I felt a strong responsibility to approach the position with complete professionalism and integrity. For me, that meant stepping back from exhibiting and dedicating my full focus to leading and supporting the Association.

While there was nothing preventing me from continuing to show, I believed it was important to lead by example — to remove myself from the ring and avoid any potential conflicts, ensuring my commitment remained solely with the organisation and its members.

Today, I was reminded of a very special moment the 2019 National, where my three Open dogs all placed within the top five. It was an incredibly proud and memorable achievement that I will always cherish.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey, and I look forward to returning to the ring and competing again very soon.
