Wrapped up warm in her cosy bed, she watches the world go by, enjoys the fresh air, listens to the birds and spends time with her furry friends.
At Only About Dogs, I believe every senior deserves to feel included, safe and loved. Gentle outings, familiar routines, medication given on time, plenty of rest and lots of cuddles can make a world of difference.

When I say “nothing is too much trouble,” I mean it.
One senior dog I cared for had a painful eye condition. With guidance from a specialist, I treated them every two hours to ease their discomfort.

Leanne has looked after our Cavoodle, Bodhi, while we go on holidays for the past few years – she is amazing and he loves going to stay with her. The minute we turn into her street he knows and starts getting super excited!
There are always several dogs in her care to keep each other company and Leanne takes the dogs to the dog park every day for extended visits and often to the beach too. At the dog park, Leanne sets up beds and water bowls for the dogs to have a bit of a relax time too.
Bodhi is now 11 years old and has become a little particular in his old age. Leanne is very attentive to all his needs, letting him sleep in his own room or go and relax on his own if he wants time out from the other dogs. She also has no issue giving him his twice-daily medication.
She goes out of her way to help and takes very special care of all the dogs in her care.
Highly recommended.

We are so thankful to have found Leanne for the care of our Moodle Ollie.
Our dog is now 17 and we discovered Leanne 2 years ago, when he was 15. It was starting to get difficult to find someone who we knew would look after him the way the precious elderly dogs need to be looked after in their later years.

From the moment I met Leanne and was welcomed into her home, I knew I had found the perfect place for Ollie to stay when we go away on holidays.

Leanne treats every dog in her care with the same love and interest in their welfare. She makes sure their individual needs are catered for and that they are well exercised and well nourished each day. Her beautiful home is set up to ensure the dogs are always safe and calm.

I can’t thank Leanne enough for all that she has done and continues to do for Ollie. She goes above and beyond for each and every dog who is lucky enough to stay with her. They get a daily excursion in the “dog bus” to the park where they are all set up on comfortable beds if they just want to chill, then it is home for a rest – complete with calming music.

I whole-heartedly recommend Leanne’s services to anyone with an elderly small dog. You can go away on holiday and have peace of mind that your dog is being very well looked after.
