Monika's Doggie Rescue Welcome to the Monika's Doggie Rescue Official page. Our Rehoming number is R251000024. Dog Walking is from 11:00am - 2:00pm Tue - Sun.

Doggie Rescue is a private registered charity that has a No-Kill policy and believes in saving and re-homing as many dogs as we can from the council pounds. Dogs rescued from the pound are microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated by a veterinarian, who also gives them a basic health check and provides us with an estimate of theri age. The dogs are desexed (if required) and given any additiona

l veterinary treatment to return them to good health. All of the rescued dogs are then cared for, awaiting adoption into a permanent loving home. Once the dogs have completed 8-10 days quarantine (so we can observe them for any illnesses they may have picked up) they are then available for adoption. INGLESIDE SHELTER
Our Ingleside shelter and Doggiewood shop is open Tue – Sun from 10am – 5pm (including public holidays, Christmas & Easter). We are always closed on Mondays.

🐾 ADOPTIONS & FOSTER UPDATE 🐾

It’s been a wonderful few weeks at DoggieRescue, with several dogs, cats and guinea pigs finding loving homes, and some settling into foster care. Every adoption creates space for us to save another life. ❤️

🐶 MOCHA – Foster
Mocha has joined an experienced foster carer who has fostered for us before.💙

🐶 EMBERS
Embers has been adopted by an active family with older children who are excited to include her in their adventures.💗

🐶 WILLOW
Willow has been adopted by a couple who have the skills to develop her confidence 🩵

🐶 FAYE
Faye has been adopted by a couple who had a cattle X DR dog before.

🐶 BUNNY
Sweet Bunny has been adopted by a loving family with young children and plenty of time to devote to her.

🐶 LUKA (now Hercules)
Luka has been adopted by one of our vollies who has another DR doggie.
They both got on really well !

🐶 STELLA
Stella has been adopted by a couple and Stella is their first rescue dog, and their first staffy.

🐶🐶 SODA & POP
Bonded pair Soda & Pop, have been adopted by a couple who were impressed by their calm and easy-going nature.💜

🐶 TIM TAM
Tim Tam has been officially adopted by his foster carer after the pair formed a very special bond.❤️

Kimmi has been adopted by a patient lady who understood and accepted his quirky behaviours!💚

🐶 BIJOU
Bijou has been adopted by a family with young children who fell in love with her gentle nature.🧡

Belle has been adopted by a rescue-experienced family 💞

Zac has been adopted by a lady with rescue experience who saw beyond his appearance and loved him for who he is.💗

Lola is settling beautifully into foster care with one of our kennel hands and vollie and is enjoying plenty of cuddles!💛

We have been made aware of a Facebook account claiming to be affiliated with Monika’s DoggieRescue. **screen shot attached**

⚠️ THIS ACCOUNT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH DOGGIERESCUE IN ANY WAY. ⚠️

The account has reportedly been contacting people and requesting deposits for puppies, which is a common scam tactic.

❌ Do NOT send them money
❌ Do NOT provide personal or banking information
❌ Do NOT engage with the account

📢 We encourage everyone to:
• Report the account to Facebook
• Block the account
• Warn friends and family who may be looking to adopt a pet

DoggieRescue adoptions are arranged directly through our official processes, and any suspicious requests for deposits should be treated with extreme caution.

🐾🧺 DRYING LAUNDRY HELP NEEDED! 🧺🐾

With all this wet weather, we’re struggling to keep up with the mountain of laundry needed to keep our rescue dogs warm, dry and comfortable.

Maddox, Autumn and Denali — are hoping some kind supporters can lend a hand by taking a bag of laundry home to dry.

Even helping with just one load makes a huge difference and allows us to keep fresh bedding available for the dogs in our care. ❤️

Meet beautiful little BonBon — a sweet, affectionate girl who is absolutely happiest when she’s close to her humans. 🐾

BonBon is attentive, loving and a little anxious, always searching for a warm lap to curl up on. She adores sitting on couches and chairs beside her people and will quickly become your little shadow. 🥹

She is very social with other small dogs and has a fun, energetic personality with springy little legs that can easily clear puppy fencing! BonBon has a smooth coat and weighs 13.8kg.

Apart from an ear infection currently being treated, BonBon is in good health, especially for a brachy breed. She does have some respiratory effort when excited, so her new family will need to be mindful of this.

BonBon is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy companionship, comfort and plenty of cuddles. 💗

Mintie the Spitz has a message for you from the shelter!
With the weather being as it is — and likely to continue for a while — we urgently need help with laundry at the shelter.

If you can assist with washing, drying, or both, we would be incredibly grateful 🙏🏻

You can simply come by and pick up a bag of laundry to take home and return once clean and dry. Every little bit helps our rescue dogs stay warm, clean and comfortable 💙
