💛 Sweet Meli 💛
Meli is one of 14 Border Collies recently rescued by North Shore Dog Rescue . What an enormous undertaking this has been. So many volunteers and foster carers immediately put their hands up to help, opening their homes and hearts to dogs who desperately needed them.
All 14 dogs arrived undernourished and deprived of basic care, human contact and the opportunity to simply feel safe.
Meli has bonded instantly with her foster carer, but she is still learning that she can trust other humans too. Watching her slowly discover that the world can be a safe and kind place is incredibly special. 🐾
I feel very privileged to be able to support North Shore Dog Rescue and their wonderful foster carers as these beautiful dogs begin their journey towards a new life.
I hope Meli, and all 14 of these deserving Border Collies, find the loving, patient and forever homes they deserve. ❤️

This photo of Jimmy, the little Lagotto pup makes me so happy! He is a current student in my puppy class Galston Veterinary Clinic. He finds other dogs a bit scary and this is where a puppy class can help. Lots of fun activities in a controlled environment allow pups like Jimmy to learn that it is possible to relax, explore and learn in the presence of other dogs.

Wow !!!🥹🤭🥳🤯
I am still buzzing from yesterday’s trial.
We attended a NW3 trial run by in Mittagong and managed to successfully run all six searches without any hiccups.
Isla attempted each search in a joyful but very systematic manner and I couldn’t be any prouder of her!!! 🥰
It was lovely to see all the training fall into place. A big thank you to for getting us here.🙏
We received:
Three partnership awards and the overall partnership award 🏆
1st place in Exteriors 🥇
2nd place in Interiors🥈
3rd place in Vehicles
The high in trial award ⭐️
our third NW3title 🌟
and finally our Elite Title 🙌🏅😁🎉

Yesterday Isla and I attempted our 5th Nosework 3 trial. This trial tests not just the dog’s ability to search for odour but also tests teamwork and stamina with teams needing to run 6 searches with an unknown numbers of hides.
And if this wasn’t stressful enough, teams only find out their scores at the end of a long and testing day. 😅
I couldn’t be any prouder of my girl- we walked away with a ‘leg’ meaning that we successfully mastered 5 out of 6 searches, a third place in the container search, our container element title l, as well as a highly regarded partnership award. 🎉
This brings us up to 2 1/2 NW3 titles of the needed 3.
These events take a lot of work to organise and to run- a big thank you to ! 🙏
