๐Ÿพ Meet Lucky! ๐Ÿ’™
Lucky was a tiny stray kitten found outside KFC by the wonderful Mrs Hooper. She took him in, gave him the love and care he desperately needed, and eventually adopted him. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Sadly, Lucky had suffered severe damage to his left eye, and it sadly needed to be removed. But thanks to the wonderful care he received, Lucky has made an amazing recovery. ๐Ÿฑโœจ

Today, Lucky is doing absolutely amazing โ€” happy, healthy and full of life! Most importantly, he and Mrs Hooper have formed an incredibly special bond. โค๏ธ They truly are best friends, and itโ€™s beautiful to see how far this little stray kitten has come.

From being found scared and alone outside KFC to now having a loving forever home โ€” Luckyโ€™s story is one of resilience, love and a second chance. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™

We couldnโ€™t be happier for you, Lucky! ๐Ÿฅน

๐Ÿพ Meet Mr Bear, our gorgeous Dachshund! ๐Ÿ’™
Mr Bear came to Fairfield Vet Hospital for his desexing procedure after his family noticed he had started urinating inside the house. Desexing can help reduce hormone-driven behaviours such as urine marking, roaming and mounting, although itโ€™s important to remember that indoor urination can also have medical or behavioural causes.

Desexing also provides important health benefits, including preventing unwanted litters and eliminating the risk of testicular cancer, while reducing the risk of some reproductive-related conditions. ๐Ÿถโค๏ธ

Mr Bear was such a sweet little patient and handled his procedure like a champ! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Wishing this handsome boy a smooth and speedy recovery โ€” with plenty of cuddles along the way! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™

Sher Khan is one of the much-loved cats at Fairfield Vet Hospital. You might spot him roaming around the clinic or even joining a consult with Dr Moni! ๐Ÿ˜บ

Heโ€™s also best buddies with Socks and Potato, and absolutely loves play-attacking Snoopy whenever he gets the chance! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿฆท๐Ÿพ A HEALTHY SMILE MEANS A HEALTHIER PET! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฆท

Did you know that dental disease is one of the most common health problems we see in dogs and cats? And unfortunately, it can often go unnoticed until it becomes painful.

Just like us, our pets benefit from regular dental care. Hereโ€™s how you can help them๐Ÿ’œ

A SECOND CHNACE AT HOME ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’œ
A Microchip is all it takes

This beautiful story is a reminder of why microchipping your pets and keeping their details up to date is so incredibly important.

Recently, a lovely couple brought a cat into our clinic who had been visiting their yard for an entire year. They wanted to make sure he was okay, so they brought him in to have him scanned for a microchip.

Thankfully, he had one. ๐Ÿฅน

We were able to contact the registered owner and discovered that this beautiful boy had a loving home and his owner had been missing him dearly. He had been experiencing personal struggles, which had made it incredibly difficult for him to search for his beloved cat.

So, rather than asking him to come to the clinic, we helped reunite them. ๐Ÿ’œ

We dropped the cat home to his owner, and what followed was such a beautiful, heartfelt reunion. After a year apart, his owner finally had his much loved companion back in his arms. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’œ

It was a wonderful reminder that a microchip really can be the difference between a lost pet remaining lost and a family being reunited.

๐Ÿพ Please microchip your pets.
๐Ÿ“ฑ Make sure your phone number and contact details are always up to date.
๐Ÿ  If you move house or change your number, remember to update your petโ€™s microchip details too.

Collars can fall off. Tags can become unreadable. But a registered microchip gives your pet a permanent form of identification.

And sometimes, all it takes is one scan to bring them home. ๐Ÿ’œ

One little chip. One phone call. One very happy reunion. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿพ

Today, we said goodbye to a very special member of the Fairfield Veterinary Hospital family. ๐Ÿพ

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved clinic cat, Rain. ๐Ÿ’œ

Rain was so much more than a clinic cat. She was a familiar face, a gentle presence, and a much-loved part of our hospital. She brought comfort, companionship and plenty of purrs to our team, our patients and everyone lucky enough to meet her.

They say when it rains, it pours and our Rain poured so much love, comfort and kindness into every patient who walked through our doors. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿพ

Her little paws have left a permanent mark on our hearts, and the clinic simply wonโ€™t feel quite the same without her.

Thank you, Rain, for all the love, cuddles, purrs and memories you gave us. You will always be a part of the Fairfield Veterinary Hospital family.

Rest peacefully, sweet Rain. ๐Ÿพ
Forever in our hearts. ๐Ÿ’œ

We will miss you more than words can say. ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’œ Cuties of the Week! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿพ
This week, we had 6 adorable puppies visit Fairfield Vet Hospital for their very first vaccinations with Dr Kumari ! ๐Ÿถโœจ
To make their visit even more special, they had a little helper by their side... Potato the French Bulldog! ๐Ÿฅ”

A puppy's first vaccination is an important milestone in protecting them against serious diseases and giving them the best start to a happy, healthy life.

๐Ÿ“ธ Swipe through to meet this week's adorable puppies (and our very special assistant, Potato! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’œ)
