I didn’t become a dog trainer because I simply “love dogs.”
I became one because I saw too many good dogs ending up in the wrong place.
When I started working in a shelter, I noticed a pattern.
So many Staffy-type dogs sitting in kennels.
Friendly.
Driven.
Full of life.
And the truth was… most of them weren’t abused or mistreated.
They just had owners who never received the right guidance.
High-energy dogs in homes that didn’t understand how to channel that energy.
That’s a frustrating place for both the dog and the owner to be.
Before all of this, I was just like many of you.
I got a high-energy dog and became obsessed with learning how to give her the best life possible.
What started as learning for my own dog turned into a mission to help others avoid the same struggles I saw in the shelter.
Because most dogs aren’t “bad dogs.”
They’re just dogs without clear direction.
And when you give them the right structure, outlets, and communication…
Everything changes.
If you’re struggling with a high-energy or “too much” dog, you’re not alone.

Hope everyone is looking forward to a little break over Christmas, please enjoy this little video of Margi the night we brought her home 🥹 A 12 hour round trip left us with bags under our eyes but so much joy in our hearts.

Started her young on the tug toy ❤️ little pocket rocket from the beginning.

Stay safe over the holidays, we’ve already been having a wonderful break so far 😊
