Willa and I would like to thank you all for the overwhelming response to her being offered. We have been inundated with applications, and it is going to be VERY hard to decide on her forever lap.

We respectfully ask for no more applications for her - but we are happy to receive your interest in the StormChasers. PLEASE fill out the questionnaire on the website. That is where we keep track of interest and applications. Messages on Facebook will be requested to go straight to the questionnaire.

INTRODUCING THE STORM CHASERS

Life has been full of crazy, tumultuous times here at Lunafae. I was struck with a serious illness that required a significant amount of time in the hospital.

Alas, as they say, rest is for the weak, and so in the midst of it all, one bold hormonal Queen took an opportunistic moment with a too-slow pet sitter, and she found her way to our beautiful Stud.

So, she was shipped off to QLD to pay penance for her indiscretions, and gave birth under the watchful eye of her first Mama, Bec at Starseed Devon Rex.

As with all things in life at the moment, it came with some rough seas, and 4 of the sweet babies from Boo's biggest litter (7!) gained their wings and flew over The Rainbow Bridge.

We now have three babies who are thriving and will be returning home to Lunafae in the next few weeks now that I have almost regained my full health.

To follow the theme of whirlwind disasters and cyclonic craziness that is my life, I have made the decision that these babies are the "Storm Chasers".

Twister - Blue and White Bicolour

As with all of my litters, they will go through evaluation for Show or Breeding quality first, and all homes will be decided around 8-10 weeks of age. For those of you who are new to Lunafae, I select the kitten to fit the home - not the kitten you think you want (though I do keep it in mind!).

After a lot of thought, and evaluation with other breeders, I have made the decision for Willa to be offered to a pet home.

She is a beautiful lovable girl, but is not thriving in my busy and noisy home, and does not have the structure I need for my breeding program, so it is best she finds her forever lap while she is still little (she is almost 16 weeks).

If you are interested and want to be considered please fill out the questionnaire on my website. I will also be emailing the mailing list shortly for anyone who has previously filled out the form.

For those Interested, she is a Blue Mink, and will keep her bright Aqua eyes.

Things about Willa’s new home:

She needs a quiet home. And would benefit from a small space to acclimate to her new surroundings. She is easy to lose under couches
No young children
She is dog aware (I will assess this more - but has not hissed at the dog)
I will not fly her so you must be prepared to drive to Sydney. I do deliver within 2 hours of Sydney.
She will be desexed soon and all vet work will be done.
She will be sold to an indoor only household
She is also a cat that will love to be showered in treats and like most Devon Rex, you can win her over with food.

She is a beautiful little girl who deserves the chance to thrive.

Hi Folks!

Well, I’m back in hospital, so things are still up in the air.

The decision has been made that Willa will be staying at Lunafae for the time being.

I will eventually catch up with all messages - but my life is throwing curveballs left and right and it’s all a struggle right now.

Hello all!

Sorry for the lack of updates. I unfortunately have had some health complications and have found myself in hospital for a significant period of time.

My cats are all currently in foster care while I recover (I’m not even out of hospital right now). I am so thankful to the fairy god mothers who have stepped in to support me and my cats during this harrowing time.

Willa continues to grow, and for now will remain at Lunafae.

Selkie has not had a confirmed pregnancy, so is still on her honeymoon.

I do have two domestic x DRX kittens available due to a mass break out from my cattery (my home). The offending male Tom had his bits removed as revenge. If anyone would like more information on those two, please PM. They will be ready in 2-4 weeks and will be sold with all vet work and desexing for a low fee.

Her colour is darkening, and becoming more blue. Her blue eyes are starting to come through too. They will get lighter and lighter as she gets older.

Her curls are beautiful and dense.
