🌧️ OMG, it’s raining and classes are cancelled! What do I do with my dog? 🐶

If you’re asking yourself this today, why not try a Pattern Game?

Pattern Games were developed by Leslie McDevitt as part of the Control Unleashed program. They use simple, predictable patterns to help dogs know what to expect and stay engaged with their handler.

One of the easiest ones to start with is the 1-2-3 Pattern Game:

🐾 Start with “Three” and immediately give your dog a small piece of kibble or a tasty treat.

🐾 Then add “Two, Three”, feeding on three.

🐾 Finally, add “One, Two, Three”, feeding on three.

And that's it!

Once your dog gets the hang of it, have some fun with it. You don't need to turn it into a formal training session. Try a few repetitions in between play sessions, during a walk, or while moving around the house. It can be a great way to keep your dog engaged and checking in with you.

Grab some treats, have some fun and give 1-2-3 a go! 🐾

brrr..its a cold and wet day☔! Unfortunately due to wet weather ALL CLASSES ARE CANCELLED FOR TODAY (27/09)🌧🌧

As a reminder next week (04/10) is a public holiday long weekend as such there are no classes next weekend either.

Introductory classes and Puppy Week 6 will be on 11 Oct.

We are doing a Recall and Leash Walking skills day across all classes. Class 2 and 3 if you can, please carry some toys so we can add in distractions.

- Class 1 and 3 will be combined.

We are short on trainers today so if any of our experienced trainers would like to lend a helping hand across any of the classes today please feel free to turn up early/stay later. We could use help with floater, adding distractions, set up and taking photo/videos.
