After breaking two bones in her leg, this sweet girl came into our care. Our team surgically repaired her fractures and placed a plate to provide stability and support throughout the healing process.

She received plenty of care, attention and love from the team during her recovery, and we’re happy to share that she has been doing well since 🩵🐾

Teddy’s TPLO 🦴🩵

The gorgeous Teddy came to us for a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) to help get him back on all four paws!

A TPLO is a surgical procedure commonly performed to treat a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) in dogs. The surgery involves changing the angle of the top of the tibia so the knee is stabilised during weight-bearing, helping to restore function and reduce pain.

Recovery takes time, patience and plenty of rehabilitation, but with the right care, most dogs can make an excellent return to their normal activities!

MEET CHIP 🦴🐾
Chip is a beautiful 1 year old Boston terrier who came to our clinic for BOAS surgery (brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome). Dr. Gwil performed a delicate surgery to shorten Chip’s elongated soft palate, which is a large reason that brachycephalic breeds have trouble breathing. The surgery was very successful, Chip is recovering well at home, and once he’s ready to go back normal activities, he will be able to do so with an improved quality of life 🤍
And if it wasn’t obvious, Chip is also a charming boy who managed to win the nurses’ hearts

We have officially been open for a month 🩵🎉
Let’s recap:
We have been very lucky to have met such beautiful clients and patients in our first month of opening, and it has us very excited for what’s ahead!
We have had a range of consults, desexings, dentals, and orthopaedic procedures to keep our team busy. We had an incredible open day (which you may have seen our previous posts about).
We are feeling extremely lucky to have the team of vets, nurses, and receptionists that we have, as well as such beautiful clients and patients walking through our doors. Thank you so much to everyone who has been part of it so far, and we can’t wait to meet more of you 🤍🐾

19/07/2026

From our first day open to our first full month, our mission has stayed the same: providing compassionate, dedicated care for your pets. Thank you for an unforgettable first month!
