🐍 FROM FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES TO LIVING THEIR BEST LIVES ❤️
Meet Banjo and Waylon, two very lucky dogs who survived a terrifying snake bite ordeal.
Their owners found them down the backyard, unable to get up and in shock. Both dogs were critically unwell and needed intensive veterinary care, including oxygen therapy and close monitoring.
❤️ Banjo needed oxygen support for four days.
❤️ Waylon was able to come off oxygen by day two.
❤️ Both boys spent nine days in hospital fighting their way back to health.
Snake bites can be life-threatening, and their story is a confronting reminder of just how quickly things can change. Without urgent veterinary treatment, the outcome could have been very different.
Thankfully, these two fighters pulled through! 🐾 Today, Banjo and Waylon are back to doing what dogs do best — enjoying life, getting out and about, and making the most of every day.
We’re sharing their story to raise awareness of the seriousness of snake bites and the importance of seeking veterinary attention immediately if you suspect your pet has been bitten.
