Not every beautiful dog should be bred and that’s an important part of ethical breeding. 🤎

At Groodles of Noosa, we have extremely high standards when selecting the dogs that become part of our breeding program. It’s not just about looks — their health, genetics, structure and temperament all matter.

Our breeding dogs undergo extensive health testing, including DNA testing, hip and elbow scoring and temperament assessment. If a dog doesn’t meet our standards, we make the decision not to breed them.

It can be a difficult decision, especially when you absolutely adore them, but responsible breeding means putting the health and wellbeing of future generations first. 🐾

And not being part of our breeding program doesn’t make a dog any less loved or valued. They can still be an incredibly important part of our family and our puppies’ lives.

Because ethical breeding isn’t about breeding more dogs, it’s about making better decisions for the dogs we bring into the world. 🤎

Today our babies took their very first steps into the big wide world, and what an adventure it was. We walked them down to the vet for their check-up, giving them their first ever glimpse of life outside their safe little bubble. Cars, people, trees, birds, so much to see and be amazed by!

We are so proud to say every single puppy passed their health check with flying colours. They are now microchipped, vaccinated, and officially certified happy, healthy puppies, ready for whatever comes next.

Big adventures ahead for these little ones. 🐶💛
