Catisfaction

Catisfaction Cat behaviour counselling with home visits Catisfaction is an in-home service which focuses solely on cat behavioural problems.

Scratching furniture, inappropriate toileting, spraying, aggression, multi cat household disputes are just some issues I can help address. I believe every cat requires a different approach depending on the environment in which they are living. A home visit allows me to observe your cat in their familiar surroundings and formulate an appropriate plan of action.

My friends are away and have a house sitter staying but asked if I could pop by a few times to check on her.
This old dear is nearly 19 years old and is a total smooch. She is arthritic of course and isn’t fond of a hug( second photo ) so we made a delightful compromise of her standing in my lap whilst I scratch her butt 😂

I’m often asked what to do about single cats that are too timid to set foot outside of a room.
My advice is to get them familiar with their own high scratch post like the one shown in the video. It’s easily portable and once they have claimed it as their own, you can start to place it just outside the room entrance.
Open door entries are very daunting for many cats to pass through. Having a post gives them the option to hide behind it or jump up on it for an aerial view outside of the door. Leave it there for a week and perhaps start leaving some kibble as an incentive.

Changing environments is incredibly challenging for shy cats. Pandora has been too cosy in her open 3 tier condo in the study. So much so she is reluctant to leave as all her basic food, litter, water and bedding are magically provided!
I have gently moved her to a bedroom with all her precious resources, minus the condo.
Within 72 hrs of me reading books on the bed, putting her food up on the bed and regularly laying on the floor under the bed with dine creamy treats, she has decided it is a safe space.

Gorgeous Pandora is wondering why there has been no enquiries to adopt her?
She is sadly being bullied by the resident female cat of the house and although she has tried her hardest to be friends, the other girl will not have a bar of her.🙀
Pander desperately needs her own home where she can relax and bond with her humans.
An indoors only home without children or dogs is best.
She would be fine with one or two other sociable cats for company. ❤️
Please help find her a home by sharing or contacting me on:

It’s BABY FANGS OUT FRIDAY with Zorro .

Zorro was found in a backyard with his sibling Coconut.
The family placed the kittens in a crate in the laundry and left the laundry door open. Their mother couldn’t resist their cries and thankfully she was also captured.
This trio are now thriving in foster care and will be up for adoption soon.

Did you know a simple F3 vaccination annually covers immunity against Panleukopenia ( Feline Parvovirus )?
These kittens were fortunate to be in foster care at their most vulnerable stage. Luckily their carer noticed the symptoms early and sprang into action with a vet consultation. It’s a no brainer to have your kittens fully vaccinated for their best start in life.
