Glasshouse Mountains Riding School is looking for a passionate and reliable equestrian to join our friendly team.
We have a wonderful team of lesson horses, many of whom are OTTBs, and a great group of students ranging from complete beginners through to experienced riders.
Knowledge across a range of disciplines is an advantage, particularly showjumping, dressage and sporting.

Applicants must be flexible with working hours. Our busiest times include weekends, after-school hours and school holidays.
Availability is also required for adult lessons on two weekdays between approximately 10am–2pm.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
We would love to hear from someone with previous coaching experience in showjumping, dressage and/or sporting.
However, previous coaching experience is not essential. We are happy to consider an experienced rider who has a strong foundation in riding, competition and horsemanship and is interested in developing as a coach.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Please only apply if you meet the following requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years of consistent weekly riding lessons with an experienced coach
• Solid experience in dressage and jumping
• Competition and general horsemanship experience
• Stable management experience, including feeding, mucking out, turning horses out and rugging
• Ability to work confidently and independently
• A positive “can-do” attitude and strong work ethic
• Minimum age of 19 years
• Availability on weekends and after-school hours
• Availability for adult lessons on two weekdays between 10am–2pm
• Flexibility and good availability during school holidays
This is an ongoing position. You will be teaching many of the same students each week and developing relationships with both riders and horses, so we are ideally looking for someone who would like to become a longer-term member of our team.
Short-term applicants may still be considered if they are an exceptional fit.
