After over a year away from competing, it was so special to finally attend another show with my team of just one this time! š¤
This show was extra special as it was my first time bringing my very first homebred foal, Luna, out into the show ring. It was her first time experiencing absolutely everything ā clipping, travelling solo, attending a show, running in a ring and learning to stand with a judge around ā and she absolutely blitzed it! I couldnāt be more proud of my little girl. š„¹āØ
It was also my first show without Mum (Shelly TomƩ), which was certainly an eye-opener for many different reasons, but mainly I just missed having my buddy.
While I had an amazing experience with Luna, this show also made me stop and appreciate just how special the old show days were ā the atmosphere, the friendships, the support and the positivity that seemed to come with them just isnāt the same now.
Regardless, Iām so incredibly proud of how Luna handled her first outing and excited to see where this little homebred girl takes us next. š¤š“
