FLEA PSA 🫠🚨

Okay… we need to talk.

Over the past week we’ve started spotting fleas popping up on dogs coming into the salon.

Fleas aren’t just a “quick itch” situation. If your dog has them they’ve probably already moved into your carpets, couch, bedding… the whole house is now their Airbnb.

Here’s your anti-flea game plan:
• Keep up with flea prevention (don’t ghost it 👀)
• Wash bedding regularly — hot wash only please
• Vacuum like you mean it (yes, even the couch)
• And sometimes… you just have to bug bomb the house and start fresh

Now the not-so-fun part:
If your pup comes in with fleas we will need to do a flea wash and soak. This does come with an extra charge to cover the specialised products, extra time and the full salon clean afterwards — including treating the space so we don’t spread the party to other dogs.

We love your dogs. We do not love fleas.

Help us keep the salon cute, clean and itch-free for everyone 🐶✨

Be aware, especially for other small business owners.

We were gifted a set of custom key rings that were meant to replicate our cars. Unfortunately, the order was incorrect. When we reached out to have it resolved, the company refused to take responsibility or fix the mistake.

The keychains were returned to them for review, and despite having them back in their possession, they still refused to correct the issue. They have since blocked the buyer’s email, while keeping both the keychains and the payment.

To make matters worse, the owner — who is based in another state — has now chosen to leave a negative review on my business page in retaliation.

It’s incredibly disappointing to see this kind of behaviour from another business. Instead of simply correcting an error, they’ve gone out of their way to try and damage ours.

Unfortunately, this is a reminder that not everyone operates with integrity
