Important notice for bird owners: Dr Thoraiya will commence six weeks of leave next Monday. Please send any ongoing patient queries to the clinic as soon as possible so she can attend to them tomorrow, her final day before leave.

During her absence, our avian veterinary services will be limited to euthanasia. For all other avian matters, patients will be directed to Dr Craig at Blaxland Veterinary Clinic.

Dr Thoraiya will resume bird appointments on 4 December. We recommend contacting the clinic promptly if you have any questions or require assistance before her leave.

Give your puppy the best start with Puppy Preschool, a practical six-week program for pups aged 8–16 weeks. Led by Delta Institute-qualified trainer Connie, the small Wednesday evening classes use positive, reward-based methods to teach good manners, safe socialisation, preventative care and solutions for common issues such as toilet training, mouthing, jumping and chewing. Classes cost $300, are capped at five dogs and include a complimentary 30-minute virtual follow-up; puppies must have had their first vaccination at least two weeks before starting.

The next classes will begin once school holidays are over, so register your interest as soon as possible by emailing [email protected] or calling 02 4751 1888.
