We have been able to harvest a small batch of honey from the rescue hive. This beautiful dark honey has a complex caramel taste. We have left most of the honey for the bees šŸ. Once it is gone it is gone. $15 for 500g and $25 for a 1kg jar.

Another hive rescue completed. The owners had this hive for over 10 years. Originally an outside colony that fell to the ground and then they placed a milk crate over the top. Difficult to get to. Will collect the new box after dark. Queen not spotted. Very calm colony of bees.

Disappointingly the Paradise Point Market has been cancelled due to the T100 road closures. We are around all weekend if you need honey. This is a picture of a dragon fruit flower. It flowers at night and some lucky bees are still out and are able to pollinate it. A beautiful flower and delicious fruit.
