Our best-selling raincoat color so far this year has been Jacaranda—modelled here beautifully by Billie! 💜

As we build our 'Raincoat Sizing Gallery', Billie is a great example of how real-world examples help find the perfect fit.

Billie’s Stats:
📏 Measurement: 40cm (collar to base of tail)
🧥 Size Pictured: Small (35cm)

Billie's human helper states that the small fits her well with the straps fully tightened.

The next size up is Midi which is in the 40-50cm range and would have been much to baggy, though the length can be shortened.

Sizing Tip: Our online guide lists Small for 30–40cm. Because Billie is fairly slight but long, the Small gives her the perfect length without being too baggy; sizes on the edge should go the smaller choice. She's also making great use of the built-in lead/harness gap! 🐾

We put out a request to our customers for not only photos but their dog measurements and feedback on the fit of our raincoat range. We know they're awesome, but anything we can do to make buying the right size easy for the next customer, the better!

The response has been overwhelming, and we couldn't resist putting together a short slide show of some of the pictures. Stay tuned as we start to generate a 'sizing' portfolio, so you can look at pictures, see their measurements, and check what raincoat size they have on for a fit you like.

Meet Willow, one of our OG members of the Surfdog pack.

She grew up on NT beaches and long runs with us. These days she's mostly on paddock patrol, and usually dries so quickly she doesn't need a drying coat, especially as she prefers being outside all of the time.

Today was different.

During her walk she found something particularly unpleasant to roll in, which meant a quick bath was in order.

Coat on, dirt avoided, and back to supervising the paddock in no time.

Fast drying. Less mess. Happy dog.

Amazing what they can find to roll in. Our Labs walked straight past, but no, Willow (Kelpie / Collie) just had to get right in there! What's the most disgusting thing your dogs rolled in? A big Surfdog Australia discount to the best answer!

Big day here at Surfdog with all our stock off the truck and in the new store, having moved across the country. Had a few helpers, Flinders here was not one of them, showing up for the last pallet! Packing all weekend, dispatch or embroidery for those who ordered from Monday.
