Flopsy gets a gold star for being the bravest bunny ever!
He came in to visit Dr Louise to have his Crown Jewels removed 🙊

Here he is pictured with Nurse Caitie who has a special interest in Exotics and so cared for him for the day. It included mandatory post surgery cuddles, topping up his rocket 🥬 and a selfie or two

Thank you to Flopsy’s family for trusting Greencross Chatswood with their special boy and allowing us to share his gorgeous face with you all

Meet sweet little Kiki 🦘

Kiki was found by a member of the public with a laceration to her ankle. Thankfully, our amazing wildlife carer Kristy brought this beautiful girl into Greencross Vets South Morang to get her the care she needed.

Dr Kayla carefully stitched up Kiki’s ankle, making it her first-ever kangaroo stitch-up! ✨ Nurse Kiara was also there to monitor the procedure and make sure she was well looked after❤️

Kiki will be heading to her wildlife carer’s home today where she’ll stay for a little while to heal and grow before she can eventually be released back into the wild.

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped this sweet girl and feel very lucky to be able to care for our amazing Australian wildlife! 🦘💚

Turns out the cone makes everything I say a lot louder which nobody told me about, so if you can hear me from down the street that’s why. Also, a really big thanks to everyone at Greencross Vets because they were so nice to me and I had a really good nap there, honestly top three naps of my life

Please note: From Friday 29 September 2023, Greencross Vets South Melbourne will be temporarily closed.

We are so happy for the many new pet parents experiencing the joy of loving a pet, however with a steep increase in pet ownership and a national shortage of veterinary staff, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close.

If you currently have a scheduled appointment, we will contact you week commencing 2 October to make alternative arrangements.

We hope to reopen soon, however if you need veterinary care during this time:

• Greencross Vets Williamstown (15min drive) and Greencross Vets Caulfield South (23min drive) are nearby and your pet’s records will be on file. Book online or call the local teams to make an appointment.

• Healthy Pets Plus members and all Greencross Vets clients can visit any of our clinic locations and your pet’s records will be on file. Find A Clinic.

• You can also speak with a Greencross Vet via video call 24/7 with WebVet*. They will assess your pet via video and take notes of your pet’s condition on their Greencross Vets file, ensuring continuity of care. WebVet is free for Healthy Pets Plus members. *Terms of Service apply. Learn more.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience during this time.

We look forward to welcoming you and your pets in clinic again soon.

WELCOME DR. ROSIE 😁

Have you been in clinic recently? Did you meet our new Vet from overseas?

We have been waiting a while for this wonderful Dr to join our team (thanks covid 🤦‍♀️), but since arriving at the clinic, Dr Rosie has jumped straight into surgeries and consults as if she has been with us for years!!

Stop past and say hi if you are around, or call us to book your furbaby in for a check up.

Hi everyone, I'm J.Lo, Mum said I have the cutest bottom and that is how I got the name.

Not even joking, this baby Welsh Corgi is so cute, and she knows it. J.Lo loves to wiggle her bottom and get pats and cuddles.

Meet cute little Muesli ❤

Muesli came in to visit us for a weight check so her Dad could give her the right amount of worming treatment.

Did you know that we are Stress Free?
We will do whatever we can to make your fur babies comfortable in our clinic.
Sometimes, this means they get to have a little sniff around while we are talking with your Mum or Dad.
