Lots of apartment dwelling cats are not so happy being indoors all the time. Balconies give them the opportunity to get outside into the fresh air and sunshine. Today’s client was very happy with the balcony enclosure we created for her cat. Within an hour, her cat was out there, relaxed and happy.

Another wonderful space created by Karen & Des. This time, a 7m long x 2.1m wide side courtyard is enclosed in CatNets netting. Wall platforms, a hammock and some lovely solid tea-tree logs make the space interesting and fun for the cats.

Our first custom-made steel mesh cat cage and cat tunnel. And our last. The client was delighted and her old cat too, but strong, quality steel mesh is now too expensive and it’s time-consuming to fold it into a nice prism shape, to make all the hatch/doors in the 5m long tunnel, and to install all the hinges and latches.

Your furry family member can join you safely out on your balcony by having the area enclosed like Teresa has done. Teresa wanted removable ‘screens’, so we custom-made some to fit the openings. They can be removed and reinserted into the aluminium ‘channels’ at the top and bottom that are holding them securely in place by simply unscrewing three screws at the bottom. Nifty!
