Joy, Gidgee and I competed in the Queensland State Retrieving Titles on Friday 🏆🐾
I am so happy with the girls and how they ran throughout the day. Gidgee tried hard, good lessons learned with this little pocket rocket and a lot to take home and work on.
Joy… absolutely nailed it. I am so incredibly proud of her. She tried so damn hard in every run.
What a privilege it was to compete alongside some of the best in the business who have been in the game for years. It was great to see what they did on each run and their handling of their dogs. I learnt a tonne just by watching them on the same runs Joy and I were on. To get compliments on Joy and her runs from some of them was awesome.
No ribbons for us but huge smiles after a day out with my girls doing what we love and taking home so many lessons. I still can’t get the smile off my face. It was such a great day.
Congratulations to everyone who competed with their dogs, the place getters and winners. Huge thanks to everyone who made the day happen. Can’t wait for the next one!
