🏆 Congratulations to Jumping NSW committee member Vicki Roycroft on being awarded the ENSW Lifetime Achievement Award for Coaching.

Vicki will be presented with the Equestrian NSW Lifetime Achievement Award for Coaching at the ENSW Awards Night on 21 August 2026!

Vicki's story in this sport includes:

🐎 A three-time Olympian (1984, 1988, 1996) — and the only female (or Sheila as she puts it!) rider in the world to have competed at Olympic level in two different equestrian disciplines (eventing and show jumping)
🐎 Represented Australia at three World Championships and four World Cup Finals
🐎 In 1987, riding Apache, became the first Australian and first woman to win the Rome Grand Prix
🐎 Three-time Australian Champion (1983 Eventing, 1996 & 2005 Show Jumping)

As we celebrate World Horse Day, what better time to revisit Olympic Gold Medalist Bill Steinkraus’s tribute to the amazing horses in our sport, in our lives, and in our hearts:
