Is your pet on ongoing medication? Just a quick reminder to allow 24 to 48 hours for medication refills to be done.

Why I hear you ask? Simply, we are not a pharmacy. Our vets fill medication requests when they have a spare moment and some days a spare moment is very hard to find. Medication requests are often done in between consultations if there is time or at the end of the day when the clinic is closed. Please keep this in mind and plan ahead.

When calling for a medication refill, please be kind to our staff as we only want the best for you and your fur baby. Becoming irritated, rude or abusive to our staff not be tolerated.

The long weekend is just around the corner so just a quick reminder we will be closed Monday 8th June.

Please check your pets medication to ensure that you have enough to get you through the long weekend.

We are open Saturday, but if you’ve ever been into the clinic on Saturday, they tend to be very busy and the vet may not get time to dispense the medication.

We have been spoilt in May this year with some lovely warm weather, which has been fantastic, especially for those of us with a green thumb and those that just get out there anyway. The plant should have tried harder, we know! 😅

This month we hosted our very first cancer Council biggest morning tea organise about one of our lovely nurses. We look forward to hosting again, bigger and better next year!

Through the month we seem to have had more pyometra (infected uterus) cases than normal. We will put up a post shortly with more information and symptoms to be on the lookout for.

Our in house faecal egg count machine is ready to go and waiting for some horse, sheep or cow 💩 to test. And, you don’t even need a consult! See our previous post for more information or contact our clinic.

Only 1 C-section this month. Does anyone know the currently tally for the year 🤔

Winter is here! Stay warm by buying yourself a heated jacket (highly recommended by one of our nursing staff) and some new woolly socks. Spoil yourself, you deserve it!
