⚠️ LATE OPENING TODAY ⚠️

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up that our Slacks Creek store will be opening a little later than usual today, at approximately 9:30–10:00am.

Unfortunately, we’ve had a staff member call in sick this morning who would normally open the store, so we’re organising someone else to get in and get everything opened up.

The new Bayntons Reptiles – Browns Plains is really starting to take shape! 🦎🔥

It’s still VERY empty and there’s a long way to go — the majority of the stock, animals, displays and finishing touches are still to come — but you can finally start to see what this place is going to become.

We’ve been working nonstop behind the scenes getting the foundations right, and watching the shop slowly come together has been unreal.

Once this place is fully stocked, filled with animals and completely fitted out, it’s going to look like a totally different shop. 👀

This is just a progress video — we’re nowhere near finished yet.

🐢 MACQUARIE RIVER TURTLES — AN AWESOME FAMILY PET! 🐢

Macquarie River Turtles are one of Australia’s most popular freshwater turtles, and it’s easy to see why! These guys are fascinating to watch, full of personality and can make an amazing long-term pet for the whole family.

They’re especially popular with families and kids because there’s always something going on in the tank. Whether they’re swimming around, exploring, coming up looking for food or climbing out to bask under their lights, they’re an awesome animal to watch and learn about.
