The earliest signs of tick paralysis aren't always the most obvious.

A slight increase in respiratory effort. A little more regurgitation. A change in behaviour. These subtle shifts can signal a patient is heading in the wrong direction long before a crisis develops.

One of the most important questions to ask is: "What is this patient's clinical trajectory?" Understanding where a patient is heading, not just how they look right now, can make all the difference.

⏰ Our free tick paralysis webinar is on tonight, and there's still time to register.

Join us at 7pm as we discuss recognising early deterioration, monitoring progression, and making timely decisions before respiratory compromise develops.

Some of the most important moments in veterinary medicine happen away from the treatment floor.

They're the conversations in consult rooms. The reassuring updates over the phone. The tissues offered during difficult goodbyes. The quiet support when families need it most.

Veterinary nurses and technologists don't just care for patients. They care for people too.

Today we celebrate the compassion, empathy and kindness that help families navigate some of their most challenging moments. 💙
