Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of my lovely clients for being so patient and understanding with my slower replies and appointment changes over the past week. I really appreciate it. ♥️

Unfortunately, while we were away getting married, our boy Enzo was attacked while staying at the kennels. He came home with some serious injuries and has since required two surgeries, including surgery on his neck, face & head. He now has a large open wound on his neck that needs to be closely monitored while he slowly recovers. 🐾❤️‍🩹

He is very lucky to be here, as the wound on his neck was just half a millimetre from his carotid artery. Thankfully, he is doing okay and we’re taking things day by day. ❤️‍🩹

It’s been a very stressful and emotional time, so I’ve needed to take a little extra time at home to make sure he is safe and comfortable.

I’m hoping to be back to work as normal from Monday. Over the weekend I’ll be able to work through all of the appointments I’ve had to shuffle around, as well as get back to all of my lovely clients who have been waiting to book in. 🐾✨

Thank you again for your patience, kindness and understanding. It really means so much to me. ❤️

💍🤍 WE’RE BACK! 🤍💍
After being closed for our gorgeous wedding and taking a little time away, today is my first day back at the salon! 🥹✨
Our wedding was honestly the most magical, beautiful and incredible few days, and we’re still absolutely floating from it all. ♥️💍 I’m so excited to share some photos with you all!
For now, please bear with me while I work my way through all of your messages. 🥰 I’ve come back to quite a few messages, lots of lovely congratulations and a pretty big backlog of booking enquiries, so I’ll be replying to everyone as quickly as I can. 📱🐾
For anyone wanting to book their pups in, my available appointments are currently from mid-October onwards. I’ll work through messages in order and get everyone sorted as soon as possible. 🤍
Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding and for all the beautiful wedding wishes — they truly mean the world to us! 🥹🤍

💍 LESS THAN 3 WEEKS TO GO… I’M GETTING MARRIED! 💍🥹♥️

Just a little heads-up for all my lovely clients — the salon will be closed from Monday 7th September and will reopen Monday 21st September while I head off to marry my best friend! 🥰💍

For everyone who is currently booked in between those dates, please bear with me while I work through the appointments and shuffle/reschedule everyone. I’ll be in contact with you very soon to organise a new appointment time ♥️

Our wedding venue is completely off-grid, so while I’m away I’ll have no phone service or internet at all. If you call, message or contact the page during that time, I promise I’m not ignoring you! I simply won’t be able to see or reply to anything until I’m back in range!

As soon as I’m home and reunited with civilisation 📱, I’ll get back to everyone.

Shadow is the handsome little Cavoodle, and Charlie is the ever-dapper looking black Pom. 🖤🤎
These two are always an absolute delight to have in the salon. They brighten my day every time they come through the door with their gorgeous personalities and wagging tails. ✨
And as if they couldn't get any better, their mum and dad are pretty awesome too! ❤️ Thank you for always trusting me with your beautiful boys. I can't wait to see them again for their next pamper. 🛁✂️🐶

Even though it's winter, Shilo still comes in every 4 weeks for her short clip and those gorgeous clean poodle feet. ✂️🐾
Keeping her coat short all year round means she's always comfortable, easy to manage, and mat-free. Those clean feet are also a game changer—they help stop her bringing half the backyard inside with her by reducing all the dirt, grass and debris that can get caught in her fluffy feet. 🏡✨
She's such a little sweetheart and a total pleasure to groom. I absolutely love our visits every four weeks. What a little legend! 🥰🐾♥️

Little Tux was first off the rank yesterday, and just look at that sweet face! 🥹🐾🥰
I realised it's been a little while since I've shared some of my gorgeous clients, but that certainly doesn't mean we haven't been busy! Between bathing, clipping, cuddling, and everything in between, my days are usually filled with anywhere from 13–20 beautiful dogs. ♥️
It's been a whirlwind lately, and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for keeping me so busy and trusting me with your precious pups. I truly appreciate every single one of you. 🤍

I just wanted to let everyone know that from tomorrow, July 1st there will be a price increase across my grooming services.

Over the past few years, I've stayed true to my original prices despite the rising costs of products, equipment, utilities, insurance, and ongoing training.
I've always wanted to keep my services as affordable as possible, but to continue providing the high-quality care and grooms that your beautiful pets deserve, it's time for me to make this adjustment.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your continued support, loyalty, and trust in me. It truly means the world to me that you've chosen Hunter Valley Pet Parlour to care for your furry family members. ♥️

This price increase allows me to continue investing in the best products, equipment, education, and, most importantly, the love and care that goes into every single groom. ✨

Jett is absolutely rocking his handsome blue coat, while Coco is serving winter fashion goals in her gorgeous purple frill coat! And Kingston looking dapper with his pjs and pom poms 💙💜💛 Safe to say these three are staying extra cosy this winter... and looking pretty fabulous while they're at it! 😍

Winter is coming… but your dog’s grooming routine shouldn’t be going anywhere ❄️🐾

One of the biggest myths I hear this time of year?
“They don’t need grooming in winter OR we can just stretch the appointments out longer”
Respectfully… no 😌

Grooming is a year-round essential — especially for our long-haired babies.
If you’re wanting to keep that luxe, fluffy look through the cooler months, I offer a maintenance groom ✨
This includes a tidy up around the face, feet, belly & bum (no length off the body), plus a bath, blow dry and nail trim — perfect for extending the life of your last full groom while keeping everything fresh and clean.
But here’s the reality…
Long coats = high maintenance.
If you’re not brushing and fine tooth combing regularly at home, that beautiful long coat will turn into matting very quickly — and that means a full shave at your next appointment. Same goes for longer haircut styles… stunning, but only if they’re maintained.

Want to keep them long and cosy? Absolutely! Just be prepared to put the work in at home 🤍

A few little extras people forget:
– Dog jackets = friction → always brush after taking them off
– Collars left on 24/7 = hidden matting → take them off and brush and comb underneath every few days.

Luxury coats require luxury maintenance ✨

Brush your dogs… or they will need to be shaved like the little lovelies — sometimes matting just cannot be brushed out even by the professionals 🤍🐶

It’s that time of year again 🏝️☀️🫶🏻✨

We’re off on our yearly April holidays to celebrate Hunter’s 5th birthday 🎉🤍

I will be away from 12pm Friday 24th April, returning back to work on the 4th May, with my next available appointments from the 11th May.

I am currently fully booked before we head away, and also fully booked for the week we return.

Thank you all so much for keeping me so busy—I appreciate you all more than you know 🐾✨
