🏆 NEXT STOP — NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE SEMI FINAL! 🏆

Today we headed to Wagga for the 3YO Fillies NSW Breeders Challenge Heats with Go Easy On Me

Star was fantastic, coming home with a 2nd placing in a sizzling mile rate of 1:51.6! 🔥

That run has secured her spot in the NSW Breeders Challenge Semi Final at Menangle in 3 weeks’ time!

Couldn’t be happier with her effort today. We’re excited to see what the next few weeks bring! 🏇💨

The team has made it back home after taking a short trip up to Menangle Park, we couldn’t be any more proud of Star and her effort first up from a break, running a slick mile rate in 1:52.2

I Can’t thank everyone enough who helps behind the scenes and plays a part in my small team of horses.

Congratulations to Star’s owner, Carmen Mifsud!🥂

Joey is back with his dance moves… and he’s had an upgrade! 😂

He couldn’t get his hands on a pitchfork this time, so he settled for a rug instead. Add a bit of Italian music and suddenly he thinks he’s auditioning for Dancing with the Stars: Stable Edition 🇮🇹🎶🐴

I don’t know what’s worse the dancing or the fact he seems to think he’s actually good at it! 🤣

We welcomed 2 new faces back into the stables today! 💙🐎

🔹 Queen Of Love NZ x Skyvalley NZ
2-year-old trotter has returned to begin his race prep and is looking great!

🔹 Terror Bull Girl x American Ideal USA
This yearling filly is back for her 3rd prep and continuing to learn the ropes beautifully.

Both had their first day in the cart today and handled it like little professionals ✨
What absolute gems they are!

What a result for the stable today at Wagga Wagga Racecourse in the Nutrition Classic Race Series! 🔥

Race 5
No. 7 – Go Easy On Me

Star went around as the $1.80 favourite and didn’t disappoint. Worked forward with a lap to go before pulling away from her rivals to score a strong win by 1.7 metres, with a slick last half clocking in at 54.2 seconds ! 🔥

A huge thank you to Amanda Turnbull for a perfect drive.

Star has now officially qualified for the $100,000 3YO Filly Final next Saturday very exciting times ahead for the team!
