The Victorian Central Vet Group is committed to providing a high standard of health care for your pets at a reasonable cost. Opening Hours:
Seymour Central Vets opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm. Saturday 9.00am to 12.00pm. Nagambie Central Vets opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. Closed 12.30pm to 1.30pm. Euroa Central Vets opening hours are Monday to Friday,

9.00am to 5.00pm. Small and Large animal emergencies, out-of-hours: 03 5799 1922. Our vet's and vet nurses are on hand to help you to understand the health requirements of your pet. If a health problem exists, we discuss the treatment options, prognosis and likely costs. We're here to answer all your questions and queries. Our highly qualified, professional & experienced veterinary and nursing staff provide a full range of medical, surgical and other services for pets big or small. Treatment options and costs will be explained to you so that you may make the best choice for you and your pet. 🐾💕 When the towels become the best toy ever! 💕🐾

This little Kelpie puppy came in for a vet visit recently and quickly discovered that our towels were WAY more exciting than anything else in the room! 😂🐶

Why have a normal vet visit when you can turn it into playtime? 🥰🧺

We absolutely loved watching this little one zoom, pounce and have the time of their life with the towels! 💕🐾

Safe to say, this cheeky Kelpie left us with plenty of smiles! 😍

🐻❤️ Meet Bear! ❤️🐻

Sweet Bear recently came in for his desexing and was also due for his heartworm test and prevention. 🩺🐾

As Bear had recently moved from an area where heartworm is more common, our team wanted to make sure he was safe before starting his prevention. We performed a blood test first to check that he wasn’t already carrying heartworm infection. 🩸🔬

Thankfully, Bear passed his test with flying colours and was able to start his heartworm prevention! 🎉💙

💡 Did you know? Heartworm is spread by mosquitoes and can cause serious, potentially life-threatening disease in dogs. Regular prevention is one of the best ways to protect your furry family member. 🦟🐶

⚠️ Important Update: H5N1 Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) 🦆🐓🦜

With the recent H5N1 Avian Influenza cases in Western Australia, South Australia and New South Wales, we have implemented new protocols to help protect our patients, clients, staff and local wildlife.

If you find sick or deceased wild birds or wildlife:
❌ Avoid touching sick or dead birds or their environment.
📝 Record what you observe.
📞 Report it to the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) using their online reporting form or by calling the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline: 1800 675 888.

If you need to bring an injured wild bird or pet bird or commercial bird to one of our clinics, please call our reception team before arriving. This allows us to guide you through the appropriate protocols to keep everyone—including the birds—as safe as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these measures are in place.
By following the advice from DEECA and Agriculture Victoria, we can all play a part in helping protect our local bird populations, livestock and community.
