Are you looking to ride some amazing horses?
I'm looking for a kind, experienced horse person to restart my school horses and help prepare their fitness for my return to coaching.
Ideally someone who lives in the area or can attend minimum 3, ideally 4 days a week.
( Located Sebastian)
Must be confident and competent with handling, groundwork and riding horses that have had time off. ( Two have had 5 months off, one has had 18 months off)
Must have good hands and an independent seat.
Ideally a light weight adult rider as one is an older beginners pony, 13.1hh.
Horses are all educated and previously been school horses, competition mounts, pony club, ARC, show, trail riding, obstacles, mounted archery, etc mounts.
You'll have access to fantastic facilities and quality horses. Fully supervised.
I was injured by a client owned horse in training 5 months ago. I have had 2 surgeries and currently rebuilding strength and balance to relearn to walk in some kind of normal fashion. I have limited bend in my knee but hope to be capable of riding again soon.
Assistance from someone will be greatly appreciated and will help me get back to work sooner.
This is a voluntary position, you will be at your own risk but fully supervised.
